Cozy house in Kongsfjord

Our nice house from 1924 is unique, since Kongsfjord is one of the few villages in Finnmark that was not burned during World War II. The house is worthy of preservation, and we have worked step by step to safeguard the soul and the house. We will now rent out to be able to finance further renovation, such as replacement of windows and exterior cladding. The house is perfectly located to experience the nature in the area. Bird watching, freshwater and sea fishing and not least salmon fishing in the fantastic Kongsfjordelva. The house is in the middle of the village.

Cabin in hunting and fishing area

About 20 km outside Båtsfjord, towards Nordfjord, you can find tranquility alone or with your family. In the middle of amazing hiking, hunting and fishing terrain is a mountain cabin. You can hear the Syltefjord river rushing, and enjoy coffee with both elk, reindeer and other small game. In summer/spring, several popular tourist destinations in the area are available. Camp Syltefjord, Havna Wildlife Arctic Resort and Farmen Syltefjord offer various experiences, or a good meal if the salmon does not bite. Road all the way up to the cabin.

No running water, with possibility of electricity from generator. Drinking water must be brought, water in the river for washing. In summer, the area is very well known for salmon fishing. Summer water supply available; internet, gas and firewood included in the price. Cooking facilities inside the cabin. You can also cook food by the firepit. Car road and parking at the cabin. Pets allowed. Sleeps four; tenants must bring their own sleeping bags/pillows. Rent per 24-hour period: £2,080
