Hiking trails are right in front of the apartment, for example, they will lead to the Waldbach waterfall. Stay on the Way of Saint James you can enjoy the view of Lake Constance, Zurich crisis or the Säntis. In 25 minutes you can reach the Säntis or the seven Churfirsten as well as Thurwasser Falls by car. There is space for your car as well as bicycles.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Dear guests, Alex or I will welcome you personally and show you the 2-room- The sun runs around the whole house, which makes the apartment very bright and friendly. Due to the age of the house, the apartment is furnished in a bright vintage style. You can look out at the mountains from every window. The apartment is located in a cozy old building from 1914 on the second floor in the center of Amden. Chairlift, hiking trails, indoor pool, ski school and beautiful nature are at your doorstep.

Our region offers many outdoor activities - hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, horse riding, lama walking, SUP paddling, etc. The best Swiss chocolate factory is located in our village. You can have a tour there and enjoy their café and the shop. We recommend to have a car to explore the full beauty of Glarnerland and Heidiland regions. One parking place is free on our premises.

The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. The Mountains are Calling Retreat

Come and enjoy the fresh Swiss mountain air. Our well equipped, self contained apartment is a great place to spend some time away in either Summer or Winter. Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking. We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.

Beautiful studio with cozy Swedish stove. The basic heat may also be heated with wood for a cozy warmth and a cozy atmosphere. (Wood included in price). In the small bedroom there are two beds and a closet. Open plan living room with integrated kitchen invites you to linger. An antique bed in the living room can be used as another sleeping place. Toilet/shower available. Garden seating
