House holiday rentals in Bjørnafjorden

We had a really relaxing stay at the cabin with the nicest view :) Marius was very precise and detailed in his descriptions and always open for any questions - in total great communication. An amazing opportunity if you are around Bergen to spend a rainy fall weekend where you just want to read your book while looking out the window seeing a wavy sea and colorful trees around but probably even nicer in the summer when you can dip more often into the water and spend most of the time at the balcony. Mia's house is in a stunning location, it is spacious and you can find whatever you need in the house. Mia is a fantastic host who accommodate your requests at her best ability

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Wonderful property in an amazing location with a magnificent view of the Fjords! The surroundings are superbly scenic and peaceful, at the same time there are enough activities to keep the kids busy (our group had 2 boys - 5 and 7 years old respectively. Karina and Erlend are wonderful hosts, responsive and considerate, and have taken really good care of keeping the house in immaculate condition. Connectivity to Bergen and onwards cruises for the Fjords is not too far, and in fact one can really do some good day trips from the property itself. Highly, highly recommended and a big thanks once again to Karina and Erlend!!

Ingrid has a lovely and spacious house in a quiet suburb about 20 minutes outside central Bergen. There are both water and mountain views through large windows, making Ingrid's house a very pleasant place to relax in the evening. Her kitchen was very nicely equipped and the coffee setup was great. There is a washer and dryer available. My daughter enjoyed playing with Ingrid's children's toys and felt very at home. Wifi worked well with a strong signal throughout the house.

This is a lovely child friendly home where we felt very welcome. The garden is inviting and serene. Close to ferries and city center. Highly recommend.

The house is very nice and cozy. It has a huge window with views to Paradise. It makes you want to sit on the couch for hours, admiring the views until nightfall. Access is very easy and it has a comfortable place to park. It is surrounded by beautiful forests where you can walk for hours. I found two negative points, but not too important for me: The first is that the lighting upstairs is very nice but a bit poor. The second is that there were dog hairs on the couch. I rented the space knowing it was one's home, so I can't complain. But I would like to highlight that clothes are a magnet for hair, and if you are allergic, be careful. Lastly, I want to thank Karina. She was a kind and an attentive host. She wasn't in the house during my stay, but she met me for check-in. Everyone I've met in the area has greeted me with a smile and been friendly and close. They made me feel like I had grown up in the village. I would really travel to Norway again just to stay here and enjoy the area.

Our family gathered in Bergen for vacation. The house is of excellent size, well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, a great house for family time.

Tage is a thoughtful, responsive, generous host, and his home is beautiful. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable. Our family of five had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The view of the fjord and the mountains is spectacular, and is what really made the holiday for us. We got out and saw lots of Bergen’s places of interest, and we always enjoyed and looked forward to coming back to that view and to being so close to the water. We loved using the canoe and the paddle board, and visited the local swimming spots which were beautiful. The local shops were very close by (we used the CoOp Extra, Kiwi and Meny) and they were all easy and very good. Thank you so much to Tage and family.

We had an amazing weekend at Trine's house. It was a lovely house with really everything one could need. We were greeted with a welcome note and snacks. Easy to book and easy to communicate. And the place was just great. A newly completed home, where you can really relax in. Perfect for girlfriends, for friends, for family both with or without kids. Really perfect place.

If you're searching for peace, nature and authenticity, this is the house you want to rent. We stayed here for 10 days. A 30-minute drive gets you to the city center of Bergen if you want some (moderate) action or to the start of numerous trails leading to unreal places (Mørkevatn, Folldalshaugane, Rundemanen...). The house is comfy, clean and well equiped with a wonderful view on the fjord. You can even go swimming in the fjord from the pier, a 2-minute walk from the house!

There were two of us for about 1 week in the lovingly renovated Skolehus of Mette and Jan. Like the other vacationers, we find the location directly on the Sund with the fascinating view unique! Special thanks also to Mette for the tips to explore the area and the kindness. The house is extremely clean and really nicely decorated. The outdoor facilities (2 wooden terraces: one directly by the house and also one downstairs directly by the water) are very nice. We will keep the Skolehus in our hearts!

Dag's house is very nice and tasteful and practical. We felt very comfortable there. Dag was always available and immediately helpful in clarifying questions/problems for us. The location of the house is good as train and supermarket are just around the corner. It took 20 minutes to get to the center, and it was also not far to the Grieg House and the Stave Church. We can only recommend the house and Dag.

We (family with three youngsters) really enjoyed the bright and cozy townhouse. Everything was clean and tidy and the host had cleared space for our things in the hallway, in the kitchen, bathroom and in the bedrooms. Appreciated that! We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the morning sun in front of the house and the afternoon/evening sun on the balcony or in the garden. In all of these places there was cozy seating. The light rail is just a short walk away and makes it easy to travel around. The host was attentive and friendly and had made a written record of the most common FAQs. It meant that we quickly and easily found answers to things we were wondering about :-) We would gladly come back another time!
