Holiday rentals in Black Hawk County

We had a weekend get together with somebody coming from the Twin Cities, Janesville and Sioux City….Cedar Falls was right in the middle. The house provided lots of visiting space and great amenities. It was a little too brisk to be out on the patio around a fire at night but as the house is located right on a river that would be perfect too. Loved having the shuffleboard, foosball and beanbag games as well. Loved it and would definitely stay here again.

I went here for a personal retreat. This setting is ideal for that!! This 1200 or so square foot home away from home feels larger. The open floor plan enlarges that area, full of character, and well displayed, calm artwork. Meanwhile, the two bedrooms, nicely (one with office area) feel private and separate. The 3 seasons area was very airtight, shielding from the very windy and rainy days, that, with an added sweatshirt, became a welcoming get away for many parts of my retreat!! The times of warm sunshine (April) meant getting out on the deck was another space I got to use as well! I missed being able to use the fireplace as it was not working. While lots of luxury here, the kitchen pans, cups and silverware/utensils are lacking by far, and dirty. Stained white towels in kitchen towel drawer. Hope they update those things. Note: 8 more steps inside. The layout is so wonderful, I would recreate it for a new small build, ground level! This is worth booking for sure!

This was the perfect little place for our weekend stay. The beds were super comfortable and the place was so cozy! Ended up being the best location and was only a few blocks from all our weekend events.

Great environment, Main Street is less than a block away and great personal touches from the host

The space was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the cozy living area and the fully equipped kitchen. our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We’re definitely looking forward to returning in the future.

This is the 3rd time we have sayed at Kim's place, and we will book again the next time we need a place to stay in Cedar Falls with a larger group. We love the kitchen/dining room area for gathering together.

Tina was easy to Reach and responded quickly. The cabin is adorable and felt like home. The location is beautiful! It is a very comfortable cabin! It’s so peaceful out there, but we still had a nice tv for the evenings after enjoying the porch and outdoors. It was very nice to be able to bring our little dog. He sure enjoyed playing with Louie! I do recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay!

It was a wonderful Place to stay. Clean and quiet with a lot of places surrounding the area that were easy to get to. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again if I was in the area
