The place is quiet, clean, and cozy, perfect for resting after an intense day exploring caves and rivers. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the family running it. They were always around to help—whether it was sorting transport, recommending tours, or just making sure you had what you needed. The vibe here is super relaxed, with just the right mix of privacy and interaction. Rooms were comfortable, with everything you’d want for a good night’s sleep. And the view? Lush green and open skies—perfect for a peaceful morning coffee. It’s not luxury, but it’s exactly what you want when you're traveling slow and local. Would definitely come back.

We were warmly welcomed by our host, Yen, the moment we arrived. She was so helpful in helping us organise transport and tours and went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We truly cannot thank Yen and her family enough for their kindness and hospitality! Highly recommend for your next stay!

Our stay at Son River House was great. It is in a beautiful location on the river with a great view. It is in the quiet part of Phong Nha, but the view makes up for it. Everyone was very accommodating and they have a full restaurant and cafe on site. They will even assist in booking any tours or treks into the national park. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would do so again myself

My absolute favourite Airbnb so far! Hung went above and beyond to make sure my friend and I had a great time in Phong Nha — from organising our airport pickup to booking a bus for our return trip. The place looks exactly like the pictures, set in a very serene area. Thanks to Hung’s great local recommendations, we had the best time exploring Phong Nha. The room itself was cozy and we enjoyed a delicious daily breakfast provided by our host. Wholeheartedly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Phong Nha — you’ll feel like you’re staying with family!

Thank you for a lovely stay, the location was perfect with amazing views as well as being peaceful. You can rent a motorcycle as well as borrow the push bikes and they can organise day trips for you. The two lady’s who worked at the Homestay were very hospitable, welcoming, attentive and extremely helpful. Highly recommend and thanks again 😊❤️🇻🇳!

Thank u Hang! We are so thankful for super early check-in at 4 am! We were both very tired from the travel so this was really helpful and highly appreciated. Also thank u for great pancakes, so tasty. The place was very clean and location perfect as well. Very satisfied with Hang's accommodation.
