The perfect place to escape a few days from hectic city life, in solitude or company, to be in contact with nature, read, study , meditate, paint or explore the beauty of the mountains.

Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Cal Gineró - Outstanding House in Castellbó

Castellbò is placed within a valley, in the Pyrenees mountain range. Its a small, calmed village, close to ski resort Sant Joan de L’Erm, with two well-reviewed local restaurants and a bakery. Most of their habitants are farmers. Castellbò is at 10 min drive from La Seu d’Urgell and 25 min drive from Andorra.
