Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The storehouse is over a century old, but has been renovated in several rounds. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is for the exclusive use of you guests, and access to the rest of the main house is restricted. There are 5 litres of water available in the fridge. Bring colleagues, family, friends or come alone on a trip to beautiful Herøy. The house is located in a rural area with good hiking opportunities nearby. You can enjoy quiet days in the garden or on the nearest beach, which is about 1 km from the house. It is about 10 km to Fosnavåg which has shops and restaurants, or 15 km to Runde which is known for the great nature and the sea parrot (Lundefuglen), you can also in a couple of hours by car take a trip to Ålesund, Loen, Geiranger, or maybe you will experience Vestkapp.

You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.
