Just behind the house, there are several prepared cross-country trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails and proximity to fine fishing. Det finns även en eldplats vid ån där man kan grilla och njuta av utsikten. Boendet består av en mindre timmerstuga som trots sin storlek har de flesta bekvämligheter. Har du tur kan du se uttern fånga fisk medan du äter frukost. Storån är en populär plats för flugfiske. Fem minuters promenad från stugan har ni en stor, fin sandstrand vid Ottsjön.
