Holiday rentals in Bonne Terre

We loved out weekend at the cabin. Located just up a hill from the beautiful St. Francis river, the cabin was comfortable and had good amenities. Had all we needed to make a good dinner on the grill. Beds were comfortable even if one was not quite long enough for an adult. The best thing was the nature, the solitude and the river. A very short drive to small towns with restaurants. Only 10 minutes to Millstream Gardens. A great value.

This is an amazing spot to getaway from it all! Never saw a person once we were there! It’s a bit tricky to find but it’s a diamond once there! I hope to stay again real soon

This clean and welcoming bungalow sit in a quiet little town it is a short drive from so many outdoor activities! The friendly residents of Ironton were generous with advice about off the beaten path excursions and a little known gems. Just stop in the local coffee shop or one of the local delis or restaurants and tell them that you are in town for outdoor fun. Good grocery options within walking distance made cooking in the nice kitchen at the bungalow and option for staying in and saving money some nights. The hosts were very responsive to needs, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. The coffee bar was a real highlight!

Returned for our second weekend visit and this place is still perfection! The master bed is extemely comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed to unwind. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Everything was exactly as described and as pictured. It was super clean and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay. House was very comfortable. Showers were plenty hot and good pressure. Great location near lots of hiking. We enjoyed hiking Mina Sauk Falls twice and hike was only 10 minutes from the house. Also hiked Johnson’s Shut In and Blue Springs. Grocery store and yummy restaurants Bailey Joes and The Iron Mule were just a couple miles away in Ironton.

The view of the lake from our deck was lovely! There was a goose family with 6 goslings that would walk down the path and swim in the lake close by. We also saw a turtle, fish jumping , squirrels and many birds. Inside everything was very nice , modern and comfortable. The windows were huge, so it felt like we were on the lake the whole time. We would definitely go back!

I had a great stay at Jonathan’s house. He has done a great job of setting the house up so anybody would feel right at home. I would feel very fortunate if Jonathan‘s house was available the next time I go to Farmington! I brought my motorcycle with me as there are some great cycling roads in the area. I didn’t realize the highest point in Missouri is just a little ways from Farmington.

Had a quiet weekend and really enjoyed the place. Clean and cozy, easy check in, good communication. Loved the peace and quiet (a few cars on the nearby road didn’t really mar the experience). Did a lot of porch and hot tub sitting, watching the cows, birds and clouds.
