Dunalley is the Gateway to the stunning Tasman Penninsular. Top attractions including the historic Port Arthur, Tasmanian Devil Unzoo, Lavender Farm, Eaglehawk Neck, Cruises, Kayaking, and hiking Walks along the Canal take you to well loved Bakery , (locally caught) Fish and Chips, and General store. Bangor Winery is a 2 minute drive.

The rooms are in the lower floor of a 2 storey house, and include a bedroom, large bathroom, lounge area and cable TV. This lounge does have a fold down sofa which could be used as a bed for up to 2 people, and also has a single bed. Extra cost would be $10.00 per person over and above 2. The property is located in Primrose Sands, a beach suburb which is on the route to the popular tourist spot of Port Arthur. Primrose Sands is 45 minutes from Hobart City and 30 minutes from Hobart Airport.
“We stayed 2 nights as a family of 3 and were very pleased with ALL aspects of our stay. Some aspects exceeding our expectations such as warm hospitality with the best home made muffins in the world, breakfast supplies and towels and face washes enough for everyone (unlike most hotels). Very comfortable bedding and we were never cold. One of the most beautiful beaches is just steps away. By far a high recommendation is in order here, the perfect base for exploring the region. Jeff and Liz's place (and Sophie!!) is very spacious, comfortable and safe. Prepare to be wowed!”
Nothing Near it or like it It's not remote but it is isolated by a creek, a 1-kilometre long beach, a Bay and 7 acres of coastal woodland between you and any one. Almost self-sufficient with wood-fired heater, gas-cooking, tank water and active + passive solar power.
