There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

Access is separate from the residential building.

Includes entrance, 2 cozy living rooms, a suite, retro kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher, bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms with double beds - one is with elevation. One bedroom is a walk-through bedroom. Back entrance with washing machine. Included in the price is final cleaning, as well as towels and bed linen.

Feel the wings of history when you stay at this over 100-year-old school. Experience the most beautiful sunsets, when the weather permits, in the bright southwest-facing apartment. The area offers a lot of lovely nature, with forests and rivers, as well as lovely eateries. The building also houses a shop, tailor workshop & private residence. I am often at home and of course helpful with whatever you may need. Tønder (13 km), Løgumkloster (4 km) and Wadden Sea/Rømø National Park (35 km) Bike rental available in Ellum.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Large windows that provide light and bring the unique view inside. Beautiful and sustainable choice of materials. Cozy recycled finds that make the house personal. Beautiful terrace with lovely surroundings. Wild nature, which is beautiful no matter the season you visit the house!

1st floor with quiet and scenic surroundings

The apartment is about 100m2 with air conditioning. A cozy living room with board games, sofa, PS4, smart TV and everything you need for cooking. There is a dishwasher. We have 3 charming and newly renovated rooms with beds for 5 adults, as well as a crib and a weekend bed for children. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and pets are welcome as long as they are under control and not in bed. We share the toilet at night, but otherwise it’s 100% yours.

Our "Klabuni" has been family-owned since 1960 and was completely rebuilt in 2021. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy.
