Villa Margaridi – Chauffeur's Lodge

This property belonged to the Countess Mumadona Dias and is referred to in the medieval documentation as "Villa Margaridi", in a letter that dates from the year 1021. “Chauffeur's Lodge is as the name implies, the former accommodation of the chauffeur of the House of Margaride. We live in Vieira do Minho, near the Peneda-Gerês National Park, 1km from the Ermal dam and the Cablepark. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room with kitchen. The house is above the family home with a different (and private) entrance.
