Refúgio das Poldras (Poldras Refuge)

Refúgio das Poldras is located in Vilar de Viando, right on the banks of the Cabril River, one of the cleanest rivers in the region. Excellent for bathing, swimming, or simply walking along more than 2 km of the Cabril River. It is located about 2 km from the center of the village if you want to walk along the Roman road. The bungalow features a double bed with a unique view of the river, a kitchenette for light meals, a bathroom with shower, and a suspended deck.

Dear guests, the new house is in a quiet suburb of the beautiful town of Braga (10 min). The house offers very modern amenities (BJ 2016). The place: bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket, ATM within walking distance. By car 10 min, or by bus 15 minutes to the city center in Braga! Welcome to our cozy two-story home by the lake! We’ve kept the charming granite façade typical of the region, while the interior is clean, comfortable, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. Located in the heart of Peneda-Gerês National Park, you’ll have access to scenic hikes, thermal baths, and breathtaking nature. Just 1 hour from Braga and 90 minutes from Porto. P.S. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and not recommended for guests with reduced mobility.

Ideal for swimming, relaxing, fishing or paddleboarding. Surrounded by living nature (otters, herons and crayfish!) and an old irrigation mill still in operation. The house dates from 1843 and has been remodeled while maintaining historical features.
