We are situated 5 minutes walk from Derwent Water and the Nicol End Marina for kayaking and water activities. Portinscale has a pub that serves food and a cafe. Our favourite eating places nearby are Swinside Inn and the Ivy Restaurant in Braithwaite. Keswick is a mere 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk for eating out, shopping and outdoor sports.

The cottage has two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, a lounge dining area and kitchen, equipped to a high standard, with stripped pine floors and exposed beams. This cottage also has the benefit of being fully accessible for disabled visitors, with many extras ensuring wheelchair users or anyone with limited mobility an enjoyable stay.
