The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.
“The cottage has everything you need and has been finished to a high standard. There was a box with maps and local information which we found very useful. Hazel and Mike are very quick to respond to any messages and give all the information you need to find them easily and get into the property. I would highly recommend to stay here. Great value for money.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Olives Cottage. It had everything we could possibly need and was lovely to come back too after a day in the brisk Lake District air! It’s in a great location with quick access to Keswick and many fantastic walks nearby. Trevor the host was really friendly and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely return!”
