“A great value rental located in a quiet village outside Petersfield. Communication with the owner was simple and efficient, check-in was straightforward, the accommodation itself was fresh, stylish and excellent value for money. The fact that dogs are welcome is a huge bonus and there is a dog proof garden. I would definitely recommend it!”
A fine Grade II Listed former rectory situated on the edge of the village within the South Downs National Park, suitable for visitors of all ages, with 5 acres of gardens and paddocks, a tennis court, swimming pool and croquet lawn. The Old Rectory is a particularly fine Grade II Listed village house of 16th century origin with attractive wisteria clad southern Georgian facade. The property is a superb period family house offering elegant family accommodation in a beautiful location.
“The Old Rectory is a beautiful house and we had the perfect weekend with my group of friends. The bedrooms are spacious and there are enough bathrooms for everyone to use at their convenience. James was extremely responsive to any questions prior to the booking as well as when we were there. The garden is huge and gorgeous. We couldn’t use the pool or tennis court due to the time of year but would be fantastic in the summer. We went on a stunning, and extremely muddy, walk to Hinton Ampner (a nearby National Trust property) and there are many more walks around the area. The living rooms were really cosy and comfortable to spend time in. James gave us the contact details for a mobile masseuse/beautician which was an added bonus to our weekend away from the kids. We would all definitely consider renting this property again in the future.”
