Lovely cottage with unique decor and great outdoor areas - splash pool, stoep and braai area. The serenity is unparalleled - as are the stars! Highly recommended.

A beautifully peaceful spot to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks on the farm, and stargazing from the hot tub. The accommodation was clean and cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bathroom was neat with a large shower.

A beautiful location, a magical night sky, a lovely host! A cute Cottage with everything you need. My suggestion, add the hot tub fees to rate like most properties that have this feature. Will recommend this cottage to everyone!

You can feel the love, care, and passion that Gabriela has poured into creating this magical retreat. Our stay was nothing short of incredible. From the joy of walking up to the labyrinth and witnessing a breathtaking sunset to the pure exhilaration of squealing down the foofy slide—every moment felt special. We loved hiking to the waterfall and rock pools, immersing ourselves in nature’s beauty. Our cozy rondavel felt like a warm hug after each day of adventure. The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful

Absolutely loved Renee’s place. Peaceful and private. That lookout in the morning over the fields and seeing the horses and the beautiful landscape is special. Weather was not the best but the fireplace inside kept the place well heated. Everything we needed was there, did not expect the games, thoroughly enjoyed it. The braai spot was tops with everything you need. Bedroom was just enough, we could plug in our tv box and connect to the wifi, no issues. The horses…loved it. The highlight was the hot tub…after getting the fire going to heat it up…we got stuck in there for a few hours, loved it. Thanks again Renee. Highly recommended if you just want to break away.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hanna’s container home! The space is thoughtfully designed, cozy, and filled with natural light—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Waking up in such a unique setting was a real treat, and we especially appreciated the fresh duck eggs for breakfast in the morning. They were delicious and made our stay feel extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere of the Werda Cabin, surrounded as it is by incredible mountain views of the Tulbagh valley. The cabin is light and airy, with large windows, inviting the striking views into the Cabin. It is heated by a wood burning stove and was warm and cozy in the cold weather. Plenty of wood was supplied. Simonè is approachable, kind and professional. We confidently recommend the Werda Cabin, as a great experience of both comfort and outdoor splendour - excellent value for money. A lovely base from which to explore the many attractions of the Tulbagh valley.

Our 3-night stay at Jangroentjie Cottage was exceptional. The space is beautifully designed with impressive attention to detail. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy and enjoyable to prepare our own meals, and the overall layout struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. We especially appreciated the peaceful, private setting – it was the ideal place to relax and recharge. Watching the sunset from the private dam was a highlight and we loved the daily visits from the two adorable pups. Communication with Comine and Loveness was always warm, responsive and helpful. Highly recommended – we’d love to return!

We have had an unbelievable stay with Lina, she accommodated us perfectly in how to get there and how to get set up. Me and my wife enjoyed being totally disconnected from the rest of the world and just spend the days together. There’s a lovely space to cook inside and outside, the rooms are amazing and the whole building is nothing short of incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough. The only downside is that we didn’t book for more days. We will definitely be coming back.
