There is a lovely sea view from the cosy mezzanine bedroom that gently persuades you to slow down and enjoy the time away

Escape to a luxury lakeside cabin for two in the Derbyshire countryside. Langley Meadows is perfect for a romantic getaway or peaceful couples retreat. Our unique hand-built cabin has every modern convenience whilst maintaining a rustic vibe. French doors from both the lounge and bedroom open onto a private pontoon with hot-tub overlooking the wildlife-rich lake. Stroll across the field to the local gastro-pub, or further afield to the delights of the Peak District National Park and beyond

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Don't be put off by the weather; you can be wrapped in a blanket or toast marshmallows on the log fire, reading a book, or watching our indoor Cinema. Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.

The house recently featured in Mr Bates v The Post Office, & the roundel was the actors green room.
