A short walk from the house leads to Staffin beach where you can explore for fossils and look for the Dinosaur footprints from 165 million years ago! Surrounded by the stunning scenery many local attractions and amenities are within walking distance.

Isle of Gometra Jane Ann's Bothy Baileclaidh

VERY BASIC REMOTE BEAUTIFUL BUT NOT LUXURIOUS bothy in an idyllic situation - exposed stonework and wood. Bring own bedding and cooking stove. Basic pots crockery cutlery etc provided. Shared outdoor toilet, indoor bath heated by solid fuel stove. Wood can be bought for £13 a bucket and will be left for you to use if you want. Suits kayakers, experienced hillwalkers and island baggers. Please see reviews for more feedback. No Ulva ferry on Sat, and on Sunday only in June, July & August.

Our stylish island hideaway is located on the shores of Davaar Island… a beautiful wooden cabin ideal for those wanting to experience a sense of solitude, be close to nature and enjoy total privacy… whilst still enjoying some luxurious touches and comfort. The Bothy has been hand built, with sheep wool insulation and oak framed double glazed windows and doors. Barnacle overlooks the sea and is thoughtfully designed to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible whatever the weather!

The Hide at High Oatfield

The Hide self-catering studio is a glorious little haven of peace and tranquillity on the Isle of Mull. The perfect setting for a romantic couples' holiday. Great walking and abundant wild life on the doorstep. Centrally located for ease of access for the whole island. You will need a car if you are staying with us we are about 3 miles away from the nearest village Sorry we don't have facilities for children or babies and as we have our own dogs we cannot accept pets.
