A beautiful single storey barn conversion retaining many original features and charm. Nestling on the edge of the traditional village of Broadhempston, ideally placed for exploring the whole of the South Hams and Dartmoor. Converted from Stables in 2017, the accommodation comprises of a spacious living area including a lounge/kitchen/diner. Two bedrooms, one twin and one double both with separate bathrooms. Private outdoor space with dinning table and chairs and separate coffee/drinks area.

Houndhead Barn is located in the heart of our delightful Devon village, Broadhempston, which is sandwiched between Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful South Devon coastline. The village is home to 2 pubs both offering great food and an award winning village shop with a wide range of local produce. The local town of Totnes is filled with shops, cafes and restaurants and has a national rail station. Broadhempston is near the A38 Devon Expressway putting Exeter and Plymouth within easy reach.

Our Devon cob cottage is Grade 2 listed and is situated in Broadhempston (a peaceful traditional village in the middle of beautiful South Devon countryside). The village hosts 2 pubs and a wonderful community run village shop selling a wide range of groceries and local produce. The village is close to Totnes and Ashburton and short journey to the seaside with many beach options. It is also within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park. Enjoy lovely local walks through the nearby community forest.

Welcome to Primrose Studio, a self-contained apartment on a quiet, private drive - just 2 mins walk to the centre of Totnes. Satnav won’t find us - our check in directions will ! Beautifully converted in 2021 - with slate/wooden floors with underfloor heating, wood-burning stove, bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower, and a separate fully-equipped galley-kitchen. The studio has its own front door, with its own parking space right outside. Ideal for couples, we welcome family pets too.

Having undertaken a major modernisation the cottage retains many historical features . Sleeping 6 in 3 double bedrooms there is a large kitchen diner , sitting room with log burner , bathroom with bath and separate shower and a downstairs cloakroom . The enclosed small garden to the rear offers lovely views and the opportunity to star gaze at night . We allow flexible check in and check out times if there are no bookings either side. One dog is welcome for a booking fee of £60.
