Watch seals play in the bay a few steps from the cottage beside the imposing ruins of the historic Earls Palace. Just a short walk away you can cross the tidal path to the Broch of Birsay and spot a puffin or two! The cottage is situated at the end of the 1st leg of The St.Magnus Way and the start of the 2nd.
