Light the wood-burning stove and settle in for a cozy evening in front of a movie at this intimate detached cottage. Take a stroll down the leafy drive, curl up with a board game, then snuggle up under the eaves for a restful night's sleep.
“We really enjoyed our stay at Simon Doey’s place. We have stayed in many Airbnb places over the years and our stay here was the best experience we have had. As hosts ourselves we can appreciate the time, effort and thoughtful touches that were put in. The place was in a delightful and quiet location with a lovely homely feel to it. We would quite happily return and thoroughly recommend it.”
A deluxe shepherds hut set in the grounds of my sister Lucy's house with lovely views of the garden. It is an ideal rural getaway for two - within walking distance to two excellent pubs and a small farm shop - please come and stay!
Nestled at the foot of historic Cadbury Castle in beautiful South Cadbury, our home is perfectly situated for anyone looking to escape the rat-race and recharge their batteries. Great local walks and fabulous local pubs within walking distance. A fabulous place to break a journey if you're travelling from London to Cornwall as we are pretty much half way. However, be warned, those that have done this so far, always wish they were staying for longer, and sometimes they do!
“We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Henrietta’s cosy cottage. We all slept really well and were welcomed warmly. It was great that the cottage is so well equipped and very dog friendly too. We forgot our dog bowls, but Henrietta had spare bowls at the house and an outside tap to wash muddy paws off! The little pub up the road (The Camelot) was very friendly too, the staff were so welcoming. The cottage is a fantastic base, lots of beautiful walks around there but we were also able to get to to Durdel Door each day in an hour. We all (myself, hubby, 2 children and our sausage dog) had a great stay in South Cadbury and we would highly recommend. Thank you. X”
