Summer invites you to swim, fishing or boat excursions it is winter you can enjoy the tranquility at (or on) the ice. We are located in the Småland garden where the countryside has largely kept its character as you recognize from Astrid Lindgerns stories.

The house has a big private garden where you can relax and make a campfire at the fire pit. Go fishing or take a swim in one of the lakes nearby. With a bit of luck you see deer and foxes from our sunny porch. Go skiing at the ski-slope, visit a moose park or go down the zippline. From April to October we rent out 2 kayaks.

Waterside house Uddebo, private garden and beach

The Guesthouse Uddebo is situated right by lake Rosjön, 10 km north of the pretty wooden town of Eksjö. Originally a traditional log cabin the guesthouse was renovated and extended in 2019. The natural garden of Uddebo is surrounded by lake Rosjön on three sides, giving direct access to the water, as well as a magnificient lake view from all parts of the house. From the living room and master bedroom you reach a wooden deck with stairs to the garden and a small jetty.

Welcome to Småland and your temporary home! The traditional Sweden house has been furnished with great attention to detail, so that it is comfortable and cosy in every season. In summer, you can sit in front of the house for a day in the sun. We have three boats available for fishing enthusiasts, and wellness lovers can relax in the sauna. The bathing lake and a supermarket are within walking distance. Astrid Lindgren's World and Näs are 25 minutes away by car.

Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

The farm Skuru is located near Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25 min drive to Astrid Lindgrens Värld Perfect for guests who want a quiet and pleasant holiday in the countryside.
