Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Buckinghamshire

We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at V's through Airbnb, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, V was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend notifying her of your arrival time; it allows her to prepare everything perfectly. Upon entering, we were greeted by a delightful assortment of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel uniquely special. V had arranged a delightful spread of personalized breakfast items upon request, featuring artisan breads, jams, butter, and even delicious chocolates and a cake waiting for us. The warm ambiance, enhanced by soft music and gentle lighting, instantly made us feel at home. V's interior decor is truly one of a kind, reflecting her fantastic personality and talent for design. Our stay at this amazing piece of architecture and home was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the thoughtful layout and impressive design. The space was vast and beautifully appointed, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The huge windows were a particular highlight, flooding the house with natural light and providing stunning views. Our daughter spent hours gazing out of them! The garden was another major plus, a true haven for our dog who had the time of his life. A special mention must go to Ester, the owners' friendly dog, who became a wonderful playmate. This house truly felt like a luxurious retreat, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a stylish, spacious, and pet-friendly getaway. A very well presented home with interesting design touches

We had a fantastic time in this lovely home! We booked to stay here for Christmas to make it easier to visit family in the area. It felt like a home from home the minute we walked in. It was warm and cosy, and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. They even had Christmas lights up on the outside of the house! The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you could need. The house itself was spotless and is really nicely decorated, it looks exactly as shown in the photos. The fact it is dog friendly too is the cherry on top, our pup settled down into her new surroundings far quicker than we thought she would! 3 very happy guests, we will definitely stay again! x

All fine. Accommodation was clean and well present. Watch out for the very low doorframe upstairs - I'm over 190cm tall and it was up to my shoulder.

We had a lovely short break at Milan’s loft apartment, tucked away in the beech woods. Milan was a proactive and responsive host, letting us have all the information we needed, and providing for a comfortable stay. It is a great spot from which to explore the local area and we had some lovely walks with friends in the nearby Chinnor Hill nature reserve and at Whiteleaf cross.

I had a wonderful stay at Cathrine's Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Cathrine was a fantastic host, quick to respond and very accommodating. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend staying here!

Had an amazing couple of nights stay the location was stunning the views over the countryside loved the rural setting with fantastic hosts every thing that was needed was provided. Would definitely book again.

Close to heathrow, clean, spacious. A bit hard to find in the dark and the setting was kind of weird in the dark when you don't really know what to expect. Seemed a bit industrial with barking dogs around, but in the end we were able to check in late after a flight delay and get a restful nights sleep. Good, clean, and safe if you need a spot close to Heathrow.

The garden room was excellent in every respect. I think the only problem will be to find a date when it is NOT booked. The main area was bright and airy with excellent furniture, the kitchen had plenty of cutlery, crockery and space to store my own goods. The TV reception was brilliant and the standard channels were available digitally as well as other channels. It is close to Bookham which is a delightful village with plenty of walks and five public houses, most serving meals, I ate at the Swan Upping which was excellent. An added bonus of the garden room is the three resident ducks who provide a brilliant display of marching, searching and generally have an inquisitive side as well. The Thames is a short walk away with plenty of riverside walks so all in all a wonderful place to stay. Nick and Mikila, the hosts, are also very helpful and able to answer any questions very quickly. I will definitely be back in the garden room the next time I am in the area, providing its available!

WOW! What a wonderful few days we had at the forest cabin at Red Kite Retreats. A special weekend for our son’s first birthday and what gorgeous surroundings we were in. The cabin was spotless, beds super comfortable and the cabin had great amenities. We did some lovely walks from the cabin and chilled for the rest of our time and took in the beautiful cosy surroundings. Would highly recommend and hope to go back again one day!

Really enjoyed our stay at the bee hive. Layout was really unique and made a really enjoyable experience. Hot tub was very relaxing while looking up into the trees. Will definitely be back to try out one of Nigel’s other stays. If your thinking about it, can assure you won’t regret booking👍🏼

I have already booked to go back again for two weeks in June, that's how lovely this place is. Beautiful location, set on its own, on a farm, lovely and quiet with stunning outlook. The wood burner was very popular, Christine had already set it up ready for our arrival. Didn't get around to using the BBQ or Firepit Very comfy bed made it difficult to get up in the morning zzzz Thanks Christine and Mark for making us welcome.

We absolutely loved Chloe’s place - it’s exactly as described, in a very good location about 5 mins drive from Marlow. Marlow is a lovely village - loads of pubs and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and if we’re down this way again we would rebook. Simply excellent.

We had a lovely stay. Colin & Lian were great hosts. The EcoPod was excellent (we liked it so much we’ve bought a smaller one for our garden), opening out into a large garden which backed onto open countryside. Our dog very much enjoyed playing with Gigi. Highly recommended.

It's exactly as the pictures are - lovely and quiet. Will was a really good host, very responsive and was super helpful when setting up the hot tub etc. The Airbnb is really well located for what we wanted, we spent the day at Bletchley Park which was great. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights and have the capacity to I would pack some extra pillows and cushions. The bed is pretty good considering that it's the table too. The perfect place for a short stay away!

The cabin is beautiful, and would be perfect for a short stay in the area. As well the fancy towns of Henley and Marlow nearby, its very easy to get to the river heading directly south from the cabin and walk along it towards Hambleden which I can definitely recommend. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was clean and comfortable.
