Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

This is a small 16 m2 house with a 180 cm bed, access to a shared toilet and bathing facilities with other small houses. There is a microwave, kettle, glasses, dishes and cutlery in the house. There is a small restaurant in the area but it must be booked in advance. There are 28 km to the nearest store. Guests need to come to the main house to check in. There is open WiFi.

The working farm Nedri-Hundadalur is located 120 km west of Reykjavik. We are in the center of Snæfellsnes, Borgarfjörður and West fjords. We offer a camper suite, with kitchen and wc. Outside the camper is a hot tub, you can use, just let us know if you want. The sleeping space is for 4 slit to two grown ups and two children. The environment is beautiful and peaceful.
