De Oude Smederij

Enjoy and relax in the Frisian countryside? This is possible with us in De Oude Smederij, which was formerly a forge but has been completely renovated into a comfortable vacation home. The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Relax and unwind in our beautiful vacation home with views over the Jan Durkspolder. Enjoy the silence! With a private deck and completely unobstructed view, you have plenty of privacy! The cottage is modernly furnished and is equipped with luxury box spring beds, rain shower and excellent WiFi The surrounding area is great for cycling, hiking or boating. We have canoes and bicycles for rent. The cottage is located on a small-scale recreational site with 5 cottages and space for 10 campers.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Our new guest house is in the "shadow" of the former Zuivelschool, on the edge of the city canal of the historic Hanze city of Bolsward, one of the eleven cities of Friesland. A 10-minute walk from the historic city center, with one of the most beautiful townhouses in the Netherlands! A calm and quiet base from which to explore the many beautiful cities, villages and lakes of Friesland. 8 km from the Afsluitdijk, 10 km from the beach and 200 meters from a bus stop and 2 supermarkets.

Every morning, the regional baker delivers a luxurious breakfast. From the suite, you have a unique view of the largest tidal area in the world: the Unesco World Heritage Site "The Wadden Sea". We will do everything we can to make sure you have an unforgettable stay in the Trechter!

In watersportdorp Terherne aan het Sneekermeer. Het Kameleon avonturen park, cafe, restaurants en de mooiste kerk/trouwlocatie van Friesland om de hoek. U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

B&B Loft-13 is an attractive, luxurious B&B on the border of Friesland and Groningen. Unwind and relax in your own sauna and wood-fired hot tub (optional/reservation). Excellent base for wonderful cycling and hiking trips. As well as business overnight stays, as you are a 5-minute drive from the A-7 towards various major cities. We provide a luxurious, varied breakfast, using fresh local products and of course the fresh free-range eggs from our own chickens.

IT ÚT FAN HÚSKE - with hot tub in the heart of Friesland

Rural accommodation IT ÚT FAN HÚSKE is located on an idyllic slingerdijkje 15 min cycling from Sneek or the Sneekermeer. The húske is detached, cozy and equipped with every comfort. From the outdoor terrace with canopy, guests can enjoy the HOT TUB, the views, the stars and a fabulous sunrise. The hot tub costs €40 for the 1st day and €20 for subsequent days. We recommend that you bring your own bathrobes, but if necessary, we also have bathrobes.

Cosy tiny house on our horse farm!

Enjoy a wonderful stay on our horse farm! Located in the beautiful quiet village of Goënga on the edge of the bustling Sneek! and 5 minutes away from nature and recreation area de Potten on the water! It is fully equipped and extra special, in addition to a whole herd of horses that live in freedom with each other! The cozy Tiny house is also very centrally located to discover the beautiful surroundings of Friesland by car, bicycle, boat or canoe!

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen.
