The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full employment and have four small children.

Helle Gard - Cozy cabin - fjord and glacier view

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

Simple and peaceful accommodation, which is centrally located. Takes about 30 minutes to walk to the city center . Bicycle can be borrowed for free if desired ( about 10 min) Good bus connections. Short distance to grocery store , 5 min walk. Private entrance and free parking. Newly refurbished in 2018. One bedroom with a double bed. White goods. Exit to garden that can be used! Nice hiking area right outside the door, short distance to the mountains around Førde.

"Bakkane" is originally a small farm from approx. 1880-1900. Completely renovated. Outhouse/annex with a larger activity room upstairs, and a smaller “outdoor living room” downstairs. Great views of a smaller valley and an old farmhouse. Just off the property is a smaller river, and a 15-20 minute walk away is a water where rowboat is available. Great hiking areas throughout the area. It is about 900 meters from Åmotsvegen to Bakkane. Parking for 2 or more cars.
