Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

If you need to relax from a stressful everyday life, then you are in the right place with us, in a house from 1680 and a roadside inn in the 1800s. We offer an approx. 70 square meter home, newly renovated in 2024 and with access to its own small and fenced courtyard. If you also like nature and animals, you can participate in feeding our goats and chickens, or borrow a bicycle and go on an excursion in the nearby area, such as to Øster Højst, to be pampered in the town's inn.

A quarter of an hour's drive from Flensburg and Aabenrade is a large and well-equipped vacation home with a large property in a rural area. The house has a spacious hallway, a bedroom with a double bed and electric fireplace, a bedroom with a double bed, storage space and a TV. Meals can be enjoyed in the large integrated sunroom with underfloor heating and panoramic views of the park-like garden.
