Cabin holiday rentals in Cahuita

All staff and accommodations and Samasati Rainforest Bungalows were very polite, professional, and attentive. They were extremely communicative and excellent hosts. The resort stands on it's own on top of a mountain overlooking the rainforest and Puerto Viejo below. The restaurant on site was very convenient as well as the 24 hour access to the pool and jacuzzi. To those looking at booking here, do know that this is spot is deep in nature. You will encounter all kinds of wildlife from frogs, snakes, spiders, guatusa, birds, monkeys, and more. If that isn't your thing, look elsewhere. We absolutely loved being away from the busy town and beaches so this was perfect for us. Falling asleep to rain hitting the roof in the dense forest will be a cherished memory.🥰 Muchas gracias, Samasati and pura vida!

Hospedarnos en Samasati Rainforest Bungalows fue una experiencia inolvidable para nuestra familia. Desde el primer momento, sentimos una calidez humana que superó nuestras expectativas. La atención fue simplemente maravillosa: siempre amables, respetuosos, atentos y dispuestos a ayudarnos con todo lo que necesitábamos, incluso más allá de lo que podríamos haber imaginado. El lugar es un verdadero paraíso. Rodeados de naturaleza, con vistas espectaculares, paz, tranquilidad y una limpieza impecable, nos sentimos en armonía total. Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y cada rincón transmite amor. La comida, deliciosa y preparada con dedicación, fue otro de los grandes placeres del viaje. Queremos destacar el excelente equipo de trabajo, un grupo de personas amorosas, serviciales, dedicadas y realmente especiales. Su atención fue de otro nivel. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa, y es imposible no llevarlos en el corazón. Volveremos, no solo porque lo prometimos, sino porque nos 💕

Estuvimos durante tres noches y es un lugar encantador. Realmente estás solo con la selva y su maravilloso silencio y sonidos naturales. La anfitriona es amigable, proactiva, se comunica con claridad y busca resolver siempre. Pasamos una estancia muy tranquila y relajante. Definitivamente regresaríamos.

Omar is a wonderful person. Super knowledgeable of all the nature, marine life, plants and trees. The most welcoming and warm person you could meet. I felt so safe staying with Omar. What a special person! He’s the guy to stay with if you visit manzanillo. His home is really beautiful, full of the best nature Costa Rica can offer. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. I can’t recommended his place enough. Thankyou for a beautiful stay Omar!

Valio cada segundo estar alojados con Esteban, muy amigable , con buenos consejos sobre la zona, es un lugar sumamente privado y de facil acceso. ( hasta con un sedan podrian ingresar ). Tiene todo lo que ud necesitaria para cocinar y pasar varios dias.

Bei Dalma und ihrem Mann reichen 5 Sterne eigentlich gar nicht aus. Die beiden haben uns herzlich empfangen und alles war (inklusive einem selbstgemachten Begrüßungs-Drink im Kühlschrank) bestens vorbereitet. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll eingerichtet und liegt direkt an der Grenze zum Cahuita-Natiolpark. Ein kleiner Traum mit wundervollen Gastgebern. Von uns gibt es 10 von 5 Sternen!

Cabaña construida con un gran gusto, super cómoda, con todos los servicios, de fácil acceso, ubicación excelente, con una gran zona verde para el disfrute. Tanto Rolando como anfitrión, así como su administradora Sharon, siempre estuvieron pendientes que nuestra estadía fuera muy placentera y de gran disfrute y estuvieron al tanto de cualquier necesidad que requiriéramos, super recomendada esta estadía. Muchísimas gracias Rolando y Sharon, por habernos hecho sentir como en casa, Dios les bendiga y siga prosperando ese hermoso lugar!!!

Above and beyond service. Udson and his wife were exceptional! They went out of their way with anything I needed. Wifi was great. Hot water was awesome. A bit of a walk to shops and things but that was the best part! Some of the jungle insects do linger about. So be prepared. It's their home, we are the intruders..LOL But nothing any outdoor enthusiast would mind. Awesome neighbors too!

Pablo fue muy atento, el lugar es demasiado tranquilo , es muy limpio, el lugar es bastante lindo. Definitivamente vamos a volver, nos encantó

La casa preciosa, cómoda y bien situada ,la atención de los dueños inmejorable, muchísimas gracias familia, nos habéis hecho sentir como en casa, lastima que solo teníamos un fin de semana, pero prometemos volver!

Lou était très sympathique, chaleureux et plein de bons conseils et le logement était propre et confortable. Sans parler du magnifique jardin dans lequel sommeilles pleins d’animaux :)

It was a very unique experience. There’s no cell service or wifi so you will need to leave the property to communicate with hosts or in general. We did love staying there and it was a very nice quiet getaway with lots of nature to connect to. There is a waterfall nearby but we found out through locals that the specific waterfall talked about it in the Airbnb is not safe without a tour guide due to robbings and assaults. I would suggest looking at the Google reviews. There are other waterfalls further out that are probably better to visit. We did do the chocolate tour nearby with the Bri Bri and it was a lot of fun. An outdoor shower would have been amazing to have at this property due to how beautiful the property is. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts and Grethel were very kind and responsive.

Lynch was a great host. He was very kind and patient. Even though I accidentally ran over his water connection, severing it. He didn't even get upset, just remained calm and took care of it. A lot of respect to him for this.

This stay was an adventure for us! We will miss rocking gently to sleep in the comfy hanging bed, waking with the incredible sounds of birds and howler monkeys, watching agouti and chacalaca rove through the yard, and seeing aracari, oropendola and toucans in the trees around us. The kitchen was our favourite ever, with the folding shutters opened to the outdoors, gas stove and hanging out on the barstools, or the various other seating areas on the spacious covered deck. We enjoyed the original design of the cabin in beautiful materials and with many cute details. The beach is a short walk away, through a lush quiet residential road. The outdoor shower is a must for sand management 😄 The indoor shower is great, hot water and nice bathroom. Yes, you are living half outdoors (geckos and insects are part of the adventure) but in great style. We loved being here! Tip: the margaritas at the Reggae Bar down the road are wicked good!

Super petit chalet en bois, plus charmant que sur les photos ! Il est plus grand que ce que l’on croyait, les lits sont de bonne qualité, et l’environnement est exceptionnel : la plage très calme est à 2 minutes à pieds et nous pouvons observer une faune très riche depuis le salon (toucans, agoutis…). Super Negro (= supermarché grand et de qualité) à quelques minutes en voiture. Nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps, c’est un vrai havre de paix ☮️
