Al Monopolio is a small apartment on the second floor of a late 19th-century mountain house, formerly the seat of the state monopoly in Pieve di Cadore, birthplace of the painter Tiziano Vecellio. In the center of the Venetian Dolomites, a few kilometers from Cortina d'Ampezzo and Misurina, Pieve is an ideal base for summer walks in the Dolomites or to reach the ski slopes in winter. In the winter, it is a great location for cross-country and downhill skiing enthusiasts. 5 minutes from the Val di Casies loop and the Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco. 15 minutes from the ski lifts of Plan de Corones and Sesto Tre Cime di Lavaredo. In 10 minutes you will reach Lago di Braies and Dobbiaco, in 15 minutes San Candido and Valdaora, and in 20 minutes Brunico.
