House holiday rentals in Caminha

We had a pleasant stay in this spacious house, ideal for our group of two families. Upon arrival, we found a clean and well-appointed house. The stone structure and antique decor add a rustic and original touch that makes the atmosphere unique and very warm. The pool was a real asset which allowed us to have great moments of relaxation and play. The garden, very well maintained, offered a beautiful and unobstructed view, adding a peaceful setting to our stay. We all enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Great house for a few quiet days with a group of friends!

We rented this house for ten people and we had a fantastic weekend! The house was spotless and even nicer live than the pictures. The pool area is simply fantastic, apart from being very well thought out to enjoy it. The pool was super clean and well cared for, they also left us some pool towels in case we needed. The fantastic rooms and bathrooms, the kitchen great and super spacious....a ten of the truth. The common spaces are multiple and very spacious so we could all be together comfortably. Apart from the hostess was super friendly and flexible with us at all times, so thank you very much. Wonderful.

The most charming house with lots of character within walking distance to the beach and restaurants in Afife. The house is beautiful and so is the garden and pool area. Dulce and her daughter Joana were really helpful with any requests and information needed. The house was great for kids and even came with toys and books to keep them entertained (1&3 year old). We would love to come back!

We were a group of 4 adults, a 9 month old baby, a 2 year old, 2 dogs, and the house was perfect for everybody! Great space inside and outside (dogs enjoyed a lot exploring around, very safe), big bedrooms - each one had its own bathroom (they provided a cot for our little one), and a very well equipped kitchen. Isaque and his mom were very responsive, caring and available, made our stay super comfortable, providing some nice little "gifts" and local treats for us to enjoy along the days. We had a lovely and peaceful time. The pool is amazing, it had nice views as well. Not much to do around the area (I'd recommend to take everything you need for the entire stay), just little walks or hiking (you need a car to reach the closest town or the mini market), so if you are looking to spend some days with family, just enjoying nature and away from the every-day-rush, this is your place.

We had a lovely stay. We travel a lot and the hospitality by Sonia and Ricardo is certainly among the best we have had. They are friendly, attentive and very responsive to any request. They advised us on restaurants and tours to do. The accommodation, located in a quiet residential area is very nice, with garden, barbecue, hammock, sunbeds, swimming pool. Cabedelo Beach is within a 10-minute walk. It is a very large beach where you can practice all water sports (kite, surf, windsurf, wingsurfing...) with centers that rent equipment and teach classes. Anyway, we recommend it and will be back!

Antonio's airbnb has everything that's needed and it was clean. Antonio was very eager to help us a lot with recommandations for places to eat, surf and visit the area.

We had a great time at this place! Everything was perfectly as advertised: quiet, clean, well-equipped, with a truly exceptional welcome. The host is very kind, warm, available while remaining very discreet. She had even prepared a cozy bed for our baby, which touched us a lot. Despite a few days of rain, we felt really good at home. The setting is peaceful, in the countryside, exactly what we were looking for, while being an ideal base for exploring the north of Portugal. A very nice place that we highly recommend!

The view from this home is priceless. It is spacious and very comfortable. The power went out multiple times but always came right back on. The host was quick to respond to all of our questions and requests.

The house is as described. Beautiful, thoughtful, clean and tidy. With a modern and very functional rehabilitation. Very abundant firewood available for the stove, which will be a good need if you like us you have a cold weather on the days you stay in the house. As the only negative point, the existence of another house a few meters away in the same estate deprives this accommodation of excellence, although if you book the 2 homes with a group or family of friends, this is solved😉. Communication with Vila Nova de Cerveira is very good if you have a vehicle.

Restored house in a quiet setting with beautiful views. Everything very well taken care of. You can walk down to Caminha and take the opportunity to exercise. If you don't feel like making the beach, you can sunbathe in the great garden. If you go with children very appropriate to play without disturbing neighbors. Totally recommended.

We loved Jose Mario's house. Everything was very clean and picked up, the neighborhood very quiet, the comfortable beds, the shimmering bathrooms, lots of light, being able to park in the door and comfortable to see the north of Portugal. Everything that can be desired when you rent a house by Airbnb at a more than reasonable price. Just perfect.

We spent two magical weeks at Ella's place, spending each day amongst nature and having the best time, whether it be in the pool, walking around the grounds, relaxing on the beautiful patio of the apartment or playing basketball or table tennis. Anything we needed, Ella and her team would help and would always offer things for our one year old, such as toys to play in the sand with and fun toys for the pool. Maria, who is one of the team, is incredible: kind, caring and just lovely. She made our stay perfect. We can't recommend this place enough, true heaven. thank you Ella and the team!

Very pleasant stay, the house is located in a very quiet area and with nice views. Noelia was very attentive to our arrival and provided us with a couple of cots and high chairs for two small children, and she was available for anything we needed.

Wonderful Country House for Holiday in Gerês. Close to several areas of the Natural and Minho Park, cozy and in the middle of nature. Silent mountainside street overlooking the mountains, complete with everything a person may need for cooking (minus one oven, but okay). We were a couple with two small dogs that loved the fenced backyard. The week we spent there we saw from the window cows grazing and a shepherd with sheep. Even a fantastic experience to relax the city. The host was very attentive and sent many tips and the point of maps to the house, checked in smoothly, the car was parked on the front terrain without any problems.

Second stay at Isabel's and still as satisfied. The house is always very clean, tidy and well-equipped. Proximity to big cities (Barcelos, Braga...) but the quietness of the countryside. Stayed at the house with my colleagues and we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for everyone when some alone time was needed but also various activities you can do in the house when all together - pool table, foosball, outside barbecue area just to name a few. The communication with the property was also great. Definitely recommend.
