Gigha is 3 hours’ drive from Glasgow, and a 20min ferry. The island is seven miles long, and our house is in the village near the shop and the Gigha Hotel and bar.

The old Loft is a one bedroom apartment that would sleep a family of 4/5. It is situated on a working farm where you can enjoy seeing the sheep, lambs and Clydesdale horses. We are less than a 5 minute drive to the beautiful beaches and golf courses that surround us. A perfect get away for walkers, surfers, golfers or if whiskey is your thing there are 3 distilleries to explore! Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Airds Wood Cottage is situated in the centre of this peaceful village, just a few minutes walk from the working harbour and a selection of forest walks. Choice of 3 glorious beaches within 6 miles. The golf course is just a minute away and village pub and selection of eateries within walking distance. Dogs are welcome - first 2 dogs free.

Within a few minutes walking distance of the town centre and all its amenities and only a 10 minute drive to local golf courses and beaches. There is plenty of space for parking on the street outside the building. Access is flexible as there is a keybox situated at the front door.
