“I organised for 2 of my employees to stay in this property during their time in Ballarat. It was in a lovely quiet area which allowed them to get a good rest during their busy time there. The house was large enough that they had their own personal space. Thank you Leanne for all your help during their stay!”

“We were scheduled to spend our last two nights in Australia here. Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to Covid-19 events. We were scheduled to spend Monday and Tuesday nights. Then depart from Melbourne Airport on Wednesday. On Sunday we noted that Australia was instituting mandatory self quarantine for those returning from outside the country. Sunday evening, we heard from family that the US-Canada border was likely to close. Our return home was complicated because we needed to fly into Vancouver then cross the border to the US to get home. Our airline's website was crashing and reservation phone number would not answer. We decided to go to Melbourne Airport early Monday to see what was going on. If we could get out, we would cancel our two nights at Michael's place. If we could not fly out Monday, we planned to drive to Ballarat, stay two night's at Micheal's place and depart as scheduled on Wednesday. A mad scramble ensued at the airport where we got last minute seats on another airline. We canceled our BnB booking with Michael as soon as our new flight was confirmed. As much as we did not want to cancel last minute, the Covid-19 crisis dictated otherwise. As it turns out, the US-Canada border was closed on Wednesday so we are relieved we departed Oz early.”
