Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cape Winelands District Municipality

We stayed at Villa Stellendal for almost 8 weeks and felt at home: Tommy warmly welcomed us, instructed us and asked daily about our well-being. Our good fairy Miriam has also always provided fresh laundry, flowers and cleanliness in our beautiful home. The villa is cozy, everything is available, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a smart TV with Netflix and the pool provides regular refreshments and a jacuzzi for relaxation. The villa is secluded and therefore very private. The location is central but still quiet. For all wishes and questions, the reception with Anneke, Cindy and Hannah is also staffed daily and open and helpful to all wishes and questions. Even though there were small deficits or repairs, Tommy was available daily and resolved the deficiencies quickly and easily. It was very difficult for us to say good bye, but we will see all the lovely people again in Oktobee 2025.

Beautiful home, lovely pool, location was perfect, we could walk easily into the centre and a short drive to many lovely vineyards. House was well equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Elaine was very easy to communicate with and check in / check out was straight forward. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again!

A beautifully renovated farm house that is ideal for 3 couples. The house has many entertainment areas (courtyard was our favourite) and has some unique decorative art pieces. There are lovely small touches like the water filter and bath soap that made the stay more memorable. The kitchen has everything and more than needed: hello 3 different types of coffee machines ☺️ We enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Wesley, the host, was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. The location was perfect - peaceful, yet conveniently close to everything we wanted to see and do in Stellenbosch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home in an amazing location. Felt right at home - house is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street to feel very private but all within walking distance of anything you need. Jan was a great host and so was Eric who looked after us very well. Will def be back for future trips.

We had a lovely stay! The house was huge, perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids. It was very convenient being next to the winery where we were attending a wedding. And walking distance from gorgeous hiking!

Andre was a great host, when we arrived the fireplace was already on and a few lights, we walked into a warm cozy house in the middle of a rainy cold day we thought that was a wonderful touch of kindness. The house is well equipped and very comfortable beds and linen. We really enjoyed our stay, the play area was great for the kids. We would definitely recommend staying

WOW!!! Where do I start!? This is more than just accommodation. It’s an experience! From the minute we arrived I felt right at home. Warm welcoming, drinks on the porch while listening to the extensive history of the farm and structures we will be staying in and visiting. The chalet was stunning!( old renovated farm house ) Beautiful views and wildlife all around. The following morning we had a tour around the farm which was unbelievable. Steve is AWESOME!! I thoroughly enjoyed spending most of our day with him making missions and discovering new sights on the farm. I will most definitely be coming back. Thanks for the unforgettable experience.

Delightful and excellent location. We had a great and comfortable stay. The manager Fabian was also very responsive and helpful in every aspect. We would love to come back and perhaps try one of your other cottage’s. Thanks for sharing your incredible space and surroundings.

Magriet’s place is the perfect Airbnb – super clean, a very comfortable mattress, a well equipped kitchen, looks exactly like the pictures, and it’s private and safe. There is so much attention to detail; I doubt you’ll miss a single thing to have a very comfortable stay – Magriet has thought of it all! It was lovely to have braai area (and all the equipment you need, including wood). Magriet is a wonderful host and it’s clear she cares about her guests. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we won’t stay anywhere else!

We stayed here for a chess Tournament at Hottentots Hollander high school. The home was perfectly located, just a 10 minute drive to the school and close to the beach, lots of restaurants and shopping centers. My wife and I worked during the week, there are plenty of work spaces, and high speed internet for video calls or for streaming Netflix, although the TV was also available for that. We did bring our own Rain router though and had perfect signal. The master bedroom had an en suite and the other bedroom had two beds with its own large bathroom. The aircon helped with the hot afternoons and we did make use of the kitchen area for cooking and the laundry area for a load. Jillian was a perfect host, anticipated our needs and communicated well. It was a pleasure staying here. Would do it again if we’re ever in Somerset in future.

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

Very nice place to stay. Maybe a warning that other people are on horses around the farm and the dam is not very accessible or easy to swim in.

We loved our stay at Montevue. The place feels very remote and as though you have the farm to yourself. We enjoyed walks around on some of the trails and then did a couple of pit stops in Montagu as well. Wood fired hot tub is a treat and the sunsets and stargazing are amazing (at least when it’s not cloudy). Definitely an incredible experience.

We enjoyed a lovely two days at Lika's spot. She was very welcoming and helpful, and was very kind to let us check in earlier than normal because the house was ready for us. Thank you for the lovely, peaceful stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place is full of thoughtful details and the hosts clearly care about their guests' comfort. Even with bad weather, the accommodation provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable time. We would highly recommend it and would love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay with David and Bonnie. The cabin is a true log cabin. We don’t see this often in South Africa. Everything was lovely. So peaceful and comfortable. They have a lovely dog, Chicco. He was very welcoming. The garden is beautiful. Such a lovely place. David gave us insights on where to go and things to do.
