Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Capellen

A comfortable stay in Serena’s home and also shared the top floor with two other air bnb bedrooms with our own kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately I found the two guests in the attic, which is above my bedroom, very noisy so I wasn’t able to get great sleep. However, the air bnb is close to central, only a handful of stops on the free bus - 5 or 6 . All in all, a nice air bnb set up.

This was a great place to stay. Setup so it could be like a hostel but we rented the whole place; we were a little nervous about the setup with our kids (them locking themselves in a room accidentally) once we saw it, but it worked great and we had no issues. Main floor area is a little noisy (not a lot on the walls or floors, plus high ceilings) but it’s a beautiful space. Would love to come back and enjoy the great outdoor spaces as well!

The house was clean and spacious with everything that you need no matter if your stay is long or short. I enjoyed staying there and the host made me feel like home.

I highly recommend Francisco and his wife, Julia. They are very helpful and friendly. The house was clean and comfortable. Francisco helped me with directions for trains and places and times. That was perfect.

Christophe foi maravilhoso, muito responsivo e flexível, especialmente com as horas do check-in. O espaço era tal como descrito, num bairro muito agradável e com o centro facilmente acessível com transportes públicos. Cozinha muito completa, cama confortável, espaço muito limpo. Por vezes dava para ouvir o barulho dos andares de cima, mas nada que incomodasse muito.

Es handelt sich um ein sehr liebevolles Apartment. Chris ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin und immer für einen netten Plausch zu haben. Der Garten mit den zwei süßen Katzen ist toll. Das Apartment ist perfekt geeignet für einen Monteur, wie mich oder einem Paar für die Erkundung von Luxemburg. In zwei Minuten erreicht man die Busstation der Linien 4 und 14. Sie bringen einen ins Centrum oder dem Bahnhof von Luxembourg. Mit einer kurzen Umsteigegspause zu den Linien 6 oder 16 erreicht man auch den Airport sehr leicht. Wer mit den Auto anreist, kann die Unterkunft sehr leicht über die A4 ereichen. Ich bedanke mich bei Chris für die tolle Zeit.

Un accueil très chaleureux ,un logement très spacieux, bien équipé, conforme à nos attentes. A 15 mins du centre Luxembourg ,des sites à visiter. Laetitia m a été de bons conseils pour m orienter dans la ville. Les enfants étaient heureux de découvrir différents parcs à jeux. Je recommande !

Valentina hat uns sehr zeitig umfassende Angaben zum Check-In gemacht. Alle Schritte waren sorgfältig erklärt und mit passenden Fotos unterlegt. Auch die Bedienung von Küchengeräten, elektrischenJalousien und Waschmaschine wurden erläutert. In der Wohnung befindet sich ein hilfreicher Ordner mit Anweisungen, Fahrplänen für Bus und Bahn und Ähnlichem. Die Wohnung selbst ist fantastisch, wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist komplett, alles ist vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. An die schmale Wendeltreppe zur oberen Ebene muss man sich gewöhnen. Im Sommer sehr warm, besonders oben, da wäre eine Klimaanlage hilfreich, doch das ist Klagen auf sehr hohem Niveau. Ruhige Wohnlage, man ist mit einem kurzen Gang durch das Zentrum des charmanten Ortes Mamer sehr schnell am Bahnhof und dann zügig in Luxemburg Stadt. Alles in allem: wir waren hochzufrieden und empfehlen Valentina als Host und ihre tolle Wohnung uneingeschränkt! Danke!

Elif was so helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had. The flat itself was perfect - spacious, super comfortable beds, excellent pressure on the shower, cosy, and had everything by we would need! Thank you!

De ontvangst door Dolores/Mariano was zeer prettig en vriendelijk. Dat er nog werkzaamheden in het (nieuwe) gebouw plaatsvonden was ons al duidelijk aangekondigd, maar het was niet hinderlijk. De instructies bij aankomst waren duidelijk en volledig. Het appartement was qua voorzieningen en inrichting zeer compleet en we voelden ons er gelijk thuis. Het was zeer schoon en ruim. De faciliteiten, zoals keuken en badkamer, waren voortreffelijk. De auto kon gemakkelijk in de parkeergarage worden gezet en stond daar veilig. Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we gedurende het weekend gebruik gemaakt van het (gratis) openbaar vervoer via de haltes die direct voor het gebouw zijn en ons binnen enkele minuten in het centrum van de stad bracht. Al met al hebben wij een prettig verblijf gehad en kunnen het anderen ook aanraden. Als de gelegenheid zich voordoet komen wij zeker terug. Dolores & Mariano, bedankt voor het verblijf en gebruik.

We hadden een heerlijke week in Larochette. De woning is prima gelegen voor uitstappen in de hele regio, en voorzien met alles wat we nodig hadden. De communicatie met Tom en Carmen verliep heel vlot. We komen graag terug.

Stunning place, and the most homely Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in :) Completely spotless and it really has everything you could ever need. The garden is big and quiet, looking over the fields. Supermarket nearby. Easy parking and handy garage space if you’re coming with bikes or a pushchair. Overall we love it and Anja has been really responsive and helpful!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Marc’s place! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. The apartment was spotless, beautifully organized, and very comfortable – it had everything we needed and more. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the stunning views surrounding the property. Whether it was enjoying a quiet morning coffee or relaxing in the evening, the scenery added so much to the experience. We are especially grateful to Marc for opening up his private home to us. It’s not something we take for granted, and we really appreciated the care and effort that clearly went into making guests feel at home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and communication was smooth and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you again, Marc, for your hospitality and for creating such a peaceful and welcoming space. We would absolutely love to come back and would highly recommend your place to anyone looking for a special getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in Sarah's cosy appartment, we felt very welcome. Sarah is a great host, she is friendly & responsive at all times. The appartment in Luxembourg is located close to the city center and 30 minutes drive from the pretty Mullerthal region. As we came by car, we were happy with the private parking place in the garage below the appartment complex. We hope to come back one day! Ralf & Anne
