In the large outdoor spaces, there is a hot tub made with granite stones from the area, hammocks, sunbeds and a path inside the property that winds through centuries-old holm oaks. The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Cleaning follows ministerial protocols, the pandemic has been overcome and it is no longer necessary to bring personal pillows. Linens are available upon request and are considered extra.

Cosy ground-floor apartment in the heart of Piombino's historic centre, located in the quiet Vicolo del Giardino, next to the Church of San Antimo Martire. The interior, well-furnished and well-kept, offers an atmosphere and relaxation. At the end of the alley, a small glimpse of the sea opens, adding charm to the context. A short walk from restaurants, shops and historic places, it is the ideal base for exploring the city, immersed in its authenticity.

In the past, La Guardiola was placed to defend the entrance to Porto Azzurro from the sea. It had two key features: an extensive and dominant view and immediate access to the sea.
