The apartment was perfect in every way. The rooms were spacious and matched the photographs on the website perfectly. The views across the rooftops of Ambleside to the fells opposite were to die for. It was wondeful to wake up to the views each morning and to be able to sit out on the inset balcony to take it all in after a days walking. A perfect balcony to eat an evening meal with a bottle of wine to drink in the view. The area is quiet and peacefull. The apartment gave us everything we needed and more. The bottle of prosecco was a nice touch on arrival. It is easy to walk down into Ambleside for shops, browsing and eating. Directions to the building and for accessing the apartment were clear and easy to follow. Communication with Jerry and Wheelwrights Cottage was easy. We enjoyed excellent walks from the apartment as well as further afield in fantastic weather, perfect for walking. We will certainly be returning. Ron & Tricia Berry

Luxurious place and little extra bits and bobs made us feel very special like the slippers, robes and nibbles in the kitchen.

Couldn't wish for a more beautiful place to stay, surrounded by walks, temperate rainforest woodlands, lakes, views and with Keswick on your doorstep. Couldn't ask for more. We really enjoyed using the wood burning hot tub, left Manesty feeling refreshed and revitalised.

An absolutely beautiful, peaceful space with all the amenities and easy to find and get around. We will definitely be back!

From the beginning we felt at home in Bellingham; the flat is spacious, clean and comfortable. Margaret is an excellent host: friendly, contactable and approachable. There are beautiful walks around the town and plenty of places to eat, as well as it being a fabulous location for exploring the historical sights. We'll definitely be back!

Julia's place was excellent. Walking distance from the train station, easy to find, adjacent to shops and bars, well kitted out, clean, spacious. I would definitely look to stay here again when visiting the Lakes.

wonderful. easy to get too. was a last minute due to the one we originally had booked cancelled on us due to being booked up. had everything we could possibly need if we needed it. ideal location, the agricultural inn is a minutes walk away and has great food and is dog friendly.

What a lovely apartment and dog friendly! Great communication, easy to find and access, great location for what we needed. Very clean, lovely decor and furnishing, great bathroom and both bedrooms were comfortable and warm. Highly recommended.

Fantastic property in a peaceful area of Portinscale ,easy walking distance into Keswick,the designated parking place was an added bonus. I’m a single traveller with no dogs,the apartment had no smell of dogs,no dog hairs and was spotlessly clean. The shower cubicle was a good size ,the shower was easy to operate either rainfall or normal shower head with great water pressure. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to either make yourself a snack or to cook yourself a meal. The bed linen and towels were lovely and fresh and the bed was lovely and comfortable, overall the apartment was home from home. Did a number of walks on Saturday and Sunday,Derwent circular walk,Cat Bells and Latrigg,will definitely be returning to attempt Scafell and Skiddaw. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment

This was our 2nd stay at Paul's place. Its a lovely peaceful apartment, immaculately presented and just a short walk to the town center. Paul's communication was spot on and the bread, milk and little birthday cake were appreciated. I have already recommended Paul's placd to family members.

We had such a lovely weekend at Sparket Mill, the place was just perfect. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Mark gave us some amazing recommendations which was really kind and made our decisions easy of where to eat!

Judith was fantastic from start to finish. Friendly, proactive, helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, lovely spacious bedrooms and nicely finished bathrooms!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.
