Holiday rentals with a patio in Carlow

Stunning restored townhouse, had a fantastic few days here with two families with small children. House has everything you need and has been beautifully decorated throughout. Kielty met us and showed us around and her mother Virginia couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Great value place 10/10

Eileen and husband Hugh’s place is a delightful place to stay. The curving tree-line drive and renovated mill house situated on the weir provide an idyllic setting to relax and enjoy the countryside. The house is comfortable and well thought out with everything needed already in place or solved with a quick drive to O’Shea’s Centra Market in the village. Riverside Mill Farm is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the best of Ireland. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts.

The house was immaculately clean and comfortable, with clear effort into making it liveable and comfortable. Kevin and Julie met us as we pulled in. They were so warm and friendly, taking care to give us as much privacy as we wanted whilst also making helpful suggestions for restaurants and walks. We mentioned we were there to see animals, so they even invited us to see the newborn ducklings at their kids’ house just down the road. They also made their EV charger available to us whenever we needed it. We really appreciated Julie’s homemade bread and all the thoughtful touches in the house, from paper towels and tissues to butter and jam. We didn’t have to buy anything. They were welcoming as if we were true guests and they didn’t expect us to do anything to the house before leaving. They gave us a great experience of Ireland and the warmth of Irish people.

Penny's place was so welcoming and relaxing. Nice studio style with shabby chic decor. The surroundings outside are so peaceful and we were able to walk to the local pub and have a pint and some whiskey. Also, walked down to the church ruins (which you can see from the property) ABSOLUTELY beautiful! We loved that it is next to a small pasture with sheep and lambs! If you're looking for something off the beaten path then this is the place :)

Lovely, beautifully cottage, well equipped and cosy. Local bread and eggs were delicious and an ice welcoming touch. We were only here for a couple of nights but felt right at home immediately and the cottage had everything we needed.

Beautiful clean house in a lovely village. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Mary was a great host. She was accommodating with our requests. It was very kind of her to leave us cake when we were there. I would definitely try and book again the next time we were visiting the area.
