Cabin at Stone Point Stables

We loved this cabin. It really is from the 1800's. I felt like I was having a sleepover with Laura Ingalls. Angela answered all of my questions before check in and made us feel at home with fresh ground coffee and milk. we will definitely be back.

Farmhouse Getaway | Close to Wineries & Breweries

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Charming farmhouse in a peaceful country setting — far from the city noise, but close to Frederick, Gettysburg, and Westminster. Authentic farmhouse in an updated, clean and tidy package. Host includes everything you’d need for home away from home comfort, including dishes, utensils, keurig coffee, towels, and even corn hole and gear to have a picnic on the spacious and beautiful property (highly recommend!).

The Guesthouse at Downey Family Farm

CatherineRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our family (Myself, husband and 3 teenage boys) stayed here twice. Once on the way down to North Carolina from Massachusetts and changed our original plans on the way back to stay here again. Beautiful and comfortable location with plenty of space for our family. Just over a half hour to Baltimore and just over an hour to D.C. which my family loved because we planned to sightsee in the city. We got to do all the city things and come back to a quiet, cozy beautiful farm that had great energy. We saw deer along the roadside every evening we heading back as well. Restaurants, gas stations, stores etc were within minutes. Everyone loved looking out the window and seeing those majestic cows, chickens and farmland. The house was very well appointed with all the amenities you could need while traveling and then some. It was also beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The host were very friendly, accomodating and responsive. We highly recommend and hope to stay again during our future travels.

Historic Peace and Plenty Farm: Pool House

BrittanyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The property is everything as described and more! We immediately felt at peace and appreciated the wonderful amenities (fully stocked kitchen, sauna, comfortable beds, window views). Duane was a ray of sunshine and incredible host. He stopped by to give us a history of the property and suggestions for enjoying nature. Our walks were relaxing and we enjoyed all the wildlife: birds playing in the morning, a groundhog running about, and busy squirrels. We would certainly stay again when in the area!

Sunset View Country House

We had a great stay visiting local family for Thanksgiving. To be frank, the home is a 3-star property but it is accurately pictured and described. It's a basic ranch that has been somewhat updated but very inexpensively. That said, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes for our extended family. The home was a great fit for our group with the older generation on the main level and the younger generation downstairs. The farm where the home is located is lovely and I encourage others to walk the property and say hello to the horses and the beautiful dog, Elsa. The host, Crystal, was very communicative and very accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. The highlight of our visit was meeting the Cocker Spaniel puppies that are raised and trained on the property. My family has stayed in other local properties that are that are fancier and more upgraded but I prefer Crystal's place.
