Holiday rentals with a patio in Casal de Loivos

We had an excellent accommodation in Ana's property. Extremely clean house with everything you need. The garden of the house is magnificent, very well cared for and reserved. Perfect for breakfast. We will definitely go back again and again.

Paulo's place is extremely modern, clean, spacious with a great bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. Just a pity it was too cold to make use of the pool. It was an added bonus being able to eat in their restaurant downstairs.

Nice space, with a beautiful view, and with everything you need! I just wasn't expecting the narrow streets and lack of parking. (It's not the owner's fault, it's the area itself)

We really had a very nice time in Paul's apartment! We recommend 💯 %! Our stay was actually too short & we definitely want to come back sometime. For those looking for a unique experience outside of the mass tourism, you've come to the right place! In Paul's house you will be warmly welcomed and for a while it is also "your home" A unique experience of Portuguese life in the Douro valley. The area is also beautiful, the people are nice and everything is very affordable. We hope to return one day to this beautiful Portuguese paradise. 🫶

I'll write the review in English so it can reach everyone, as well as some tips for your stay. The apartment was in excellent condition, very well decorated and clean. The TV supports Youtube and Netflix. The hosts are super nice, the area is calm, perfect for night walks. As for my tips: Restaurants in the area are cheap and serve good food. If you plan on going to Stop, a medium dose of beef does feed 2 people for only 10€. Do note that the nearest supermarket is a 30min walk from the apartment, so if you're not bringing a car make sure to stock up on your first day!

We had a great couple of days at this apartment. The city center is in walking distance. The rooms are clean and cosy. I can recommend to anyone.

good place to stay in a beautiful city.

This was a dream vacation - we had just moved to Portugal and spent 2 weeks getting setup. We wanted a quiet week as a family to rest before school started. This place was perfect: perched on a mountainside in the middle of vines, the space was quiet, peaceful and beautifully designed and appointed. Paulo, the husband, is an architect who refurbishes vintage designer furniture. Teyna, the wife, is an amazing chef. Her breakfasts (included) we delicious and the dinners they offer in their adjoining restaurant and well crafted and tasty. Their place is pet friendly - we brought our dog, and they have a dog, two cats and two birds. We did outings to Porto, nearby Roman ruins, historic villages and swam in the rivers running through them. It was delightful.

Cozy, tidy, and clean space. Super quiet location. Very friendly and always available hosts. I recommend it.

We loved our stay at Carla's place with our family. The accommodation and the surroundings are beautiful. Also the covered outdoor kitchen and bbq at the property is nice and cozy. The swimming pool is also pleasant to chill out for a while. Furthermore, we took beautiful walks around the Sousa river. Also we visited a Guimareas and went to the Arouca suspension bridge and stairway by the Paiva river. Very nice!

The house in Medas is a small private paradise in the middle of nature. a wonderful stylish retreat for all who appreciate peace and nature. Marisa is the perfect host to help you enjoy your holidays to the fullest. I can recommend the house unconditionally - we look forward to coming back soon.

Accommodation exactly as in the photos, quiet location, practical for being a few meters from a market and other points of interest. About 10 minutes by car to the center of Guimarães. Self check-in was super practical and with the password we had access to the safe with the keys. The house was extremely clean and the central heating was certainly a differential, providing the necessary thermal comfort on the coldest days we were there. When we arrived at the site, the house was already heated! The kitchen is well equipped and served us beyond our expectations. The garage accommodates a large car well, as it has a table for socializing. It's a great family accommodation. If you are looking for tranquility with comfort, this is the ideal space.

The house is quite comfortable and very quiet. Ideal for which you are looking for days of peace and wants to escape the rush of the big cities. The pool area is spectacular, with very careful equipment and a genius hot tub! Jennifer and Sebastian are perfect hosts. Very friendly and polite, they were always very attentive and immediately responded to all the messages we sent. We love our stay. We will certainly repeat the experience.

The space is wonderful! Was the best airbnb I've ever stayed in. It had everything we needed, even shampoo, softener, towels for the pool! I want to return for a stay of more days and enjoy the rest of the house and I will recommend 100%! It is 20 minutes from Porto and there are ubers on site. The pool space and jacuzzi is very nice, both with the indoor pool and discovery! The temperature of the pool is wonderful! Tiago was always ready to answer any operating questions or location! Excellent, clean, and modern apartment! It had everything one could need, including a stocked kitchen with great coffee, a nice shower, and air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the place overall was peaceful, which made it easy to rest. Parking was easily accessible at a nearby garage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had this desire, Fatima and Abel, and their family helped to make it happen by offering us their accommodation of very beautiful quality, typical, clean, with a beautiful view. The central proximity of the main places of this region of northern and central Portugal, not to mention the beautiful and very refreshing beaches, is an undeniable asset. Fatima and Abel's openness and communication allowed us to get away from the tourist spots and experience Portuguese life, its gastronomy from the inside. A real treat for our daughter and us! A great invitation to come back and discover other places in Portugal!

Elisabete was really kind, the place is very nice, on the top floor with a large terrace from which to enjoy sunny days. Highly recommended for those passing through Amarante!

The apartment has a great location, and although it is in the center, there is no noise. It was clean and ready to welcome us. With all amenities. João, from the beginning, proved to be completely available for whatever was necessary during our stay. I have to thank the couple once again for letting us make their corner, ours too.
