FreedomVille is a small boutique resort set in a beautifully restored abandoned village, surrounded by 14 hectares of peaceful nature. The resort consists of 16 unique accommodations, including hotel rooms, studios, apartments, yurts and two private premium villas, offering different levels of comfort and price ranges. Your own accommodation is always private and has its own bathroom. Studio apartments include a private kitchenette. The hotel rooms and yurts do not have their own kitchen, but all guests are welcome to use the large communal kitchen, which also has a lovely outdoor seating and dining area where you can prepare and enjoy your own meals. Please note that FreedomVille is not a private villa rental. Booking one accommodation does not give exclusive use of the entire property. The resort’s shared facilities are available to guests staying in the different accommodations and include the swimming pool, the golden jacuzzi beside the pool, the outdoor gym and several communal areas where guests can relax, eat, meet or simply enjoy the surroundings. Because FreedomVille is spread across 14 hectares, there is plenty of space to enjoy peace, privacy and quiet moments, even when other guests are staying at the resort. The atmosphere is small-scale, relaxed and intimate rather than that of a large hotel. For guests looking for additional privacy and luxury, FreedomVille also offers two premium private villas with their own dedicated facilities, including private jacuzzis and other wellness amenities. These private wellness facilities belong exclusively to the guests booked in those villas and are separate from the shared facilities of the resort. FreedomVille offers something for different types of travellers and budgets, from simple and charming stays in nature to spacious private wellness villas, all within the same unique boutique resort setting. Perquilhas House

Ideal place to visit Schist Villages such as Martim Branco, Historical Villages such as Monsanto (Idanha-a-Nova), or Castelo Novo (Fundão). This quiet village in the municipality of Castelo Branco is located just 70 km from Serra da Estrela. Freixial do Campo is a rural location but only 10 km from the city.

House "Once upon a time...

The house "Era uma Vez..." is located in the charming village of Zebras, where the tasty Castelo Branco cheese is made. It is a stone house over 150 years old, consisting of a living room and bedroom with a Jacuzzi for two people. Decorated in a rustic/chic style with objects stored in the attic for several generations, which have been reinvented to tell a story. It's the ideal place to relieve the stress of the city and find peace.

Freedom Ville Malhadil

Group stays from €400/night for 8 guests in 2 private apartments. Larger groups are welcome: FreedomVille has 16 accommodations including apartments, hotel rooms, yurts and villas. FreedomVille is a boutique resort, not a private villa; the pool, golden jacuzzi, communal kitchen, outdoor gym and shared spaces are used by all resort guests.

Similar to the Olive Yurt, the Blueberry yurt offers a spacious retreat adorned with hand-painted elements on the interior beams. Set amidst a private garden with views on the blueberry hill and fruit trees, this yurt accommodates up 2 guests. Enjoy the luxury of your own private bathroom with a shower and separate toilet just steps away from your abode.

A Sobreirinha

House with 3 bedrooms, all en-suite with private bathrooms. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, shared bathroom, barbecue, wood-fired oven and everything you need for meals indoors or outdoors. The large, fully fenced outdoor space is ideal for relaxing and enjoying your stay, and also provides a safe place for children and pets.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.

Named after its original inhabitant, Maria de Luz, this apartment pays tribute to her radiant presence in the village. Maria, at 82 years young, continues to illuminate our lives with her wisdom and warmth. In homage to her, this room is themed around “light,” reflecting her luminous spirit.
