“I don't know if there will be words to describe our brief stay. From the booking through the application to our departure everything was 5 stars. Rogério is a friendly person that we no longer easily find. From the detail of the directions to get there, to the speed in responding to our messages. The attention and friendliness on our arrival. The cleanliness and warmth of the Casita ... The location, the calm and the magnificent landscape is undoubtedly the best. It surpassed all our expectations and we will certainly be back.”
Newly renovated slate stone cottage with stunning views and sunsets. Located in the mountain village of Alqueve. Relax by the pool or enjoy local river beaches and restaurants. Other local activities inc horse riding, wine tasting, canoeing and more!
“Worth it! This house is located in a magical place, in the middle of a paradise called Alqueve-Arganil. Perfect spot for those who want to have a relaxing time in a private accomodation. In the house you will have all amenities you need for your holidays, apart from a washing machine, but I wouldn't consider this as a problem anyway. The details of the decoration gives to the house a cosy and nice final touch, the little gesture from Hazel by leaving us a welcome drink on the table made us like the place even more and the cherry on the top was the private pool, with a unforgettable view. Check in / out flexible and easy. Good communication with Hazel and fast response to any need. Good cleaning state of the house. Parking spot very close to the property. A place to come back!”

“The villa is private and looks over a beautiful valley. It is very quiet and you can hear the birds singing after sunrise. It is well insulated and stays nice and cool inside. We had a couple of cool nights and so had the pleasure of lighting the wood fire, which works perfectly. The facilities are comfortable and spotlessly clean and there is plenty of hot water. The small pool is well set up to keep children happy for hours. The WiFi is not super fast but works effectively. We arrived without supplies and that did not matter as Teresa had left us local butter, cheese, bread, milk, wine, beer juice and salad vegetables. In the morning we picked oranges from the tree and made juice. The beds are firm but comfortable. Natalino went out of his way to help us with information that we needed. Driving on the right side of the road is new to me so I hired an automatic car and this made it a lot easier to concentrate on the road. A good Sat Nav is highly recommended. The exact entrance is difficult to find, so I recommend texting the hosts to let them know your arrival time. There are so many beautiful places to visit in the area.”
