“No words to explain ❤️ Reviews from other guests really say what the accommodation is. Looks like we were in our house. Our Apt was very comfortable, very well equipped, and Jose is a great host. The year we return to Portugal for sure we will come to spend a few more days again in this wonderful place. Gratitude for all the attention and affection was wonderful”
The once traditional House of the House was recently restored to provide visitors with an environment of comfort and well-being. Located in the heart of the Geopark on one of the typical streets of the village where it is possible to visit Calvário, it receives its name because it confines with the "Tank of Rua D'Arca" that keeps the memory of the washerwomen who therein secreted their lives. Its location allows you to enjoy the historical, cultural and gastronomic heritage of our Vila, without needing the car.
“We have many positive aspects to point out in our stay, starting with the hospitality with which we were received, the cleanliness of the house, extremely well cared for, very modern with some vintage decor .. Location that allows parking a few meters from the house and within minutes put in the village center on foot ... Thanks for the sympathy and until one day ...”
House of Bichaca, resulting from the restoration of an old barn, is inserted in a quiet and serene area, where you can enjoy the sounds of nature and enjoy the magnificent views of the slopes that surround the river Paiva. Between the rustic walls, offers each visitor, unique moments of reunion with the beautiful nature. Excellent place to relax, go for walks, breathe fresh mountain air ...
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house. One of our youngsters was very surprised about the wifi connection with the good quality and high speed at such a remote place. The walk to the creek down the way was amazing; beautiful nature, flowers en crystal clear, fresh water. It was strenuous because of the steep path and high temperatures but very rewarding. We could reflect on our stay in the shadowy garden and in the hammock.”
