Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Castelo de Vide

I had a lovely stay at Alberto's house. From the beginning, Alberto and his wife were incredibly kind and attentive, always available to help and ensure everything went smoothly. Their warm hospitality made me feel very welcome. The house is comfortable and well-suited for a family of four, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the surrounding nature and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for resting and disconnecting. The location, in the countryside near Marvão, Castelo de Vide, and other Alto Alentejo highlights, is ideal for those looking to explore the region’s charm and natural beauty. It’s a great base for day trips, though it’s important to note that the house can only be reached by car. Overall, this is a cozy and well-located home in a tranquil area with thoughtful and welcoming hosts. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to others.

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

TerraFazBem proves its conviction written on its behalf. The land is really good for you and it was extremely good for me while I was there. Jorge and Maria are amazing hosts, helpful and with a good taste for plants, aromas, decorations and lives in general present in this space. TerraFazBem has a beautiful river made of Sever waters and another river that flows with peace, joy, inspiration, gratitude and impeccable thoughts, lightly. I look forward to returning ❤️🙏

Exceptional treatment by the owners. We had to delay because we found a hold and they were waiting for us in the house with the heating turned on and the house conditioned. I would repeat again both by location and by treatment. Highly recommended

Beira is a very peaceful quaint village. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable quiet rural accommodation with lovely warm hosts. We would happily visit again!

Beautiful place and surroundings, cozy home with many rooms and plenty of space. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment aswell. The only thing to note, even though it was rented in winter time, was the state of the pool. We recommend at least covering the swimming pool.

No words can describe how nice Carla is and how friendly and inviting she is along with her daughter. We felt right at home and her place was very comfortable, clean and the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. I recommend her place to anyone who wants a country side retreat with the most amazing views and not too far from the town centre. We will definitely be returning again and this time for a longer stay. Well done Carla 😍

STRONGLY RECOMMEND I highly recommend this lovely and charming place. A true gem in Alentejo, surrounded by nature. Clean and spacious space on the inside and large garden, bbq space and terrace outside. The lovely neighbors would make your experience even better with their knowledge, availability and care. The host, Elsa, is very helpful and attentive in communication and making sure you relax and enjoy your stay. Among the best experiences I’ve had with Airbnb.

The pictures definitely don't live up to the paradise we found. A house (NOTHING SMALL), lost on the hill, among sheep, donkeys and chickens, which transports us to a film. We wanted a quiet place, for a one-night getaway in the middle of the week, and we felt like more. Undoubtedly, it will be a place to repeat, with more time to enjoy all that the house offers us to explore: private collections, winery, walks, pool, landscape… Mr. Élio always friendly and helpful. All the people who passed by us were super friendly. And let's not talk about the homemade bread and the boleima: of eating and crying for more!

Great spot for a few days of rest. The house is very cute and has a fantastic view. Near the house is a very nice river beach.

Very private space totally fenced ideal for which has pets. Corresponds exactly with the described and the photos. The host always responded promptly. The house was excellent at all levels, cleaned with all amenities and privacy, being located in an extremely quiet area. Easy access to supermarket and restaurants. The family enjoyed the holidays in which we were able to rest well and enjoy nature. That said, it remains to thank Mr. Sónia and also to Mr. Joaquina, who welcomed us with all the sympathy.

Unique place for those looking to have a good time in tranquility and peace. We were very well received and our stay was really enjoyable! Unique experience with all the animals and wonderful scenery, not forgetting the features of the house that almost take us on a trip through time. We were all amazed by the stunning view over Castelo de Vide from the house – it truly took our breath away every morning. The large, beautiful kitchen was a standout feature for us. It is well-equipped and perfect for preparing family meals, with plenty of space for everyone to pitch in and cook together. The historic charm of the kitchen added a special touch to our experience. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The living areas were cozy and welcoming, with enough room for everyone to relax and unwind. The pool was a highlight, with sun beds and umbrellas, and warm water at the end of the day, with the solar exposure. The host was incredibly hospitable and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We highly recommend this wonderful home.

Absolutely beautiful location with amazing walking trails right by house. Very restful, peaceful place. Great vibes! Easy to feel at home. Loved the fireplace. Good communication and local recommendations were helpful.
