The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Croftend Glamping - Heatherbell

Welcome to Heatherbell. The pod is a perfect getaway for 2, with everything you could need and is just 5 minutes drive from Lochboisdale ferry terminal. Heatherbell is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking. In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. This is one of two glamping pods at Croftend Glamping.

Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Starsach view

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a ¾ double bed, single bed and a fold-down bunk. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

Atlantic Drift - Isle of Skye - Amazing Sea views

Atlantic Drift is a traditional byre which is set in our croft and has been thoughtfully transformed into a comfortable, open plan living space to unwind and relax. Enjoy the amazing sea views across Dunvegan Head and onwards to the Outer Isles. Watch breathtaking sunsets and the Northern lights. A paradise for wildlife and sea life enthusiasts, with moorland walks, beaches, fishing, water sports, swimming and climbing all on your own doorstep.

A renovated 19th century crofter’s house perched on the cliffs of the Isle of Skye, Milovaig house has been lovingly restored to take advantage of the breathtaking sea loch views. Norrag Bheag is a garden cabin perfectly located in Castlebay, right next to the marina. It enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views of Castlebay and Vatersay. The Annexe, Isle of Barra

The Annexe is ideally located in the middle of Castlebay, with beautiful views overlooking the Castle. It is walking distance to all amenities - local shops, pubs, hotels, places to eat, kayaking, bike hire etc. It is a peaceful, simple space where you can sit and enjoy the view.
