“Everyone here is talking about how awesome Linda is. that is 100% accurate. There are no words to express how much she takes care of her guests. She reads people and knows exactly how much to interact with her guests. However, in addition to an awesome host, I would like to tell you about the place: we were planning for upscale camping, but this was much more than that: towels, plates & utensils, grilling utensils, a gas grill, a fire pit that will be set for you (you might get some smores ingredients too), a hut-tub ready to go, a full bath in the main house if you are tired of the outhouse, books, maps, magazines, a fully stocked fridge, a great breakfast and a huge thermos of coffee taken to your door...you do not need to bring anything other than your clothes and your lunch/dinner/snacks. The location is quiet and it has great views/sunsets. You can even take your dogs!!! And the host. Oh, Linda, we love you. We will be back soon!”
You will love coming home to this darling log cabin after a day spent in the Snowy Range mountains hiking , horse back riding , snowmobiling , skiing or any of the other outdoor activities that are within walking distance ! Soak in the private hot tub or relax in the outdoor sauna after dining at the restaurants within walking distance . This cabin has a large deck perfect for grilling out and hanging out !! Come stay and play !!
“Diane is a wonderful host! She supplied personal touches throughout the cabin. There are tri-folds with information regarding the forest and various hikes. We even got the chance to meet her and hear about some history regarding the town and the cabin turning 100 years old this year! The town is a quaint town and full of life during the day. The hot tub is perfect for star gazing and is secluded so no neighbors can see you. We used the kitchen and found everything we needed to make our dinners, she even has seasonings which makes it nice. There is satellite TV, but we wanted to disconnect from our normal day to day, and this location was perfect for my wife and I to play the card and dice games we brought along. We definitely would recommend this spot for a getaway to reconnect with your significant other!”
The River House is a rustic riverfront rental in beautiful Centennial Wyoming. The house sits on 2 acres of river front property at the foot of the Snowy Range Mountains. Perfect for skiers, snowmobilers, and families on vacation.
“This was our second trip to the River House. I have 2 teenage boys and we generally bring a couple of other boys to ski/snowboard. Snowy Range is less than 10 miles from the house. It is close to skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, hiking, and other recreational activities. There is a washer and dryer to clean and dry all of the gear that we use. Centennial is a rural, cute community that is at the base of the mountain. The house has well water for showers and a septic tank for waste water. There is no dishwasher and water pressure is not what most people are accustomed to. The house is clean and dust free, but with rustic with outdated finishes. I love this about the house. I like feeling cozy in a clean older building because it fits the setting and reminds both myself and the kids(mine and friends that join us) that we live with every convenience and we are blessed to have such an amazing life with every conceivable convenience. The WiFi works great so if you need to work you can. I like to be honest about my reviews and will be back again next year to enjoy the River House. My kids love this place and always want to go back. We looked at other rentals and hotels but prefer the River House because we have space, we are minutes from the slopes, and it is nice to get away from the busy life. I recommend it to all that want to get a true break from the busy life.”
