Holiday rentals with a kayak in Central Finland

Beautifully decorated house with everything necessary for a few nights holiday for our family.

This is such a special place - we spent five peaceful nights at the cabin enjoying outdoor cooking/meals, cozy rainy mornings, kayak paddles, wildlife, sauna and swimming. It is rustic luxury and we cannot recommend it enough. We thank the hosts for such an amazing experience and sharing their beautiful place.

The cabin was beautifully situated in a very remote region in southern Finland. The views were absolutely breath taking along with great amenities. The row boat was one of our favorite parts! We had a great time utilizing the wood-fired hot tub and sauna. The hosts were very responsive/friendly and I would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

The listing matched the description. A wonderfully peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. Amazing lake scenery. Communicating with the owner was easy and quick.

Peaceful location! Saunas very good. Lots of indoor and outdoor games for kids. Drinking water on the host's behalf, washing water carried to the saunas and the opening. Just got to be and enjoy! All in all, the perfect place.

The place is very pleasant and quiet, the chalet offered to a very beautiful view of the lake from the living room and the terrace. It also has a private sauna, a functional and very clean kitchen just like the bathroom. We stayed there for 5 of us in August with family of 5 and it was a real success. The owners are very nice and brave, always available if needed. We also had a boat available and fishing rods (the more sophisticated models of rods are for rent and you need a permit if you use artificial bait, a permit that is easy to acquire via the internet, even for a week only and for people over 18 years and under 64 otherwise it's free). There's also a barbecue and a dartboard. Slightly further there is giant chess games. We also rented kayaks to change a little bit of the boat and the kids loved it. A perfect place to disconnect.

We had an Easter holiday in Elina's atmospheric log cabin. The views of Päijänne were lovely. The cottage was spacious for a group of 8 and matched the description well. It's a good idea to book and pay in advance! So you have the flexibility to get it right from the start of your vacation. We might as well stay again!
