Totally renovated and remodeled, our perfect Silver Lake bungalow retains lots of it's original 1922 charm. It has an open floor plan with wood flooring, recessed LED lighting, and Central AC/heating throughout. The full kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances. GE gas range with oven and broiler. Microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Plenty of counter space to prep your favorite meal. The bathroom is super swank with a large free standing tub and waterfall shower. Luxury. Please note the bathtub is VERY big. If you have any sort of mobility issue, message us before booking. The living/dining area has been decorated with a nod to mid-century California bungalow design. It has a wall mounted Sony flat screen TV, Bose stereo, and 5G WIFI to stream the AppleTV. It's a great space to lounge and enjoy meals and entertainment. The spacious master bedroom has an Organic King mattress and a 4 door walk-in closet with floor to ceiling mirrors. It gets lots of light during the day and has a blackout curtain over the headboard for when you need extra sleep. The 2nd bedroom is smaller than the master, but has plenty of space for a comfortable queen sized bed. It has a desk (for when it is time to get down to work). It's also appointed with a walk-in closet. The big backyard has both an avocado and orange tree. It is landscaped with native, drought resistant plants. With a lighted outdoor dining area, it's the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal and drink, or just lounge in the California sun. You have access to the entire home. Including the driveway, front porch and back yard. Please note that the driveway is narrow, so only sedans and compact SUVs will fit. Send a text or message via the site for a quick response. The house is right in the middle of the Sunset Junction and Virgil Village neighborhoods of Silver Lake. It is one of the most vibrant, diverse and walkable locations in all of Los Angeles. For people who travel without cars, the Redline Metro stop is a short 5-10 minute walk from the property. It boasts quick access to Griffith Park, Hollywood, bars and nightlife, as well as countless dining and shopping options. There is close, convenient access to the Metro Red Line subway. You will be just a short ride to Hollywood Proper, Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica Beach and the entire city of Los Angeles. For drivers, we are near to the 101 Hollywood Freeway, making it a great stop on your California road trip. Free tandem parking for two cars is included. Casa Carmona, a Mid-City Garden Oasis near Museums

Casa Carmona is a little oasis in the big city. It's convenient to just about anywhere you would want to visit while in Los Angeles. Private entrance allows you to come and go as you please. Very diverse selection of restaurants and there is a 7-11 as well as a small grocery store (that delivers) less than a block away if you would rather eat in. Laundromat and dry cleaners are one block away which is helpful for longer stays. Street parking is available. Convenient to public transportation. Full access to the guest house and the backyard area including lounge chairs and dining table. I live in the adjacent house so am able to offer help during guest's stay. I love meeting my guests from all over the world but respect your privacy and comfort! Casa Carmona sits behind a charming Spanish house in Wilshire Vista, a neighborhood created in the 1920s. This is a diverse and safe area, within walking distance of Museum Row and the Grove. Plenty of free parking is available. Approximately half my guests rent a car and there is unrestricted street parking available except for street cleaning on Tuesday afternoons. The other half of my guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes. There is plentiful public transportation within walking distance. One bus stop is less than a block away on one major street and another the opposite direction a block and a half from the house. There is also a Zip Car location less than a block away. The main bed is full size. The pullout sofa is twin bed. There is a small fridge/freezer, microwave oven, 2 burner electric cooktop, and George Forman grill for cooking. Also have a Keurig for coffee and electric tea kettle and assortment of teas. There is a end table that is gate-leg so can be used for in-room dining. Folding chairs in closet as well as extra folding table in closet. Hair dryer in bathroom. Plenty of closet space. Two luggage racks. Iron is provided. I also provide a beach blanket, tote and towels for excursions to the beach. For relaxation time at the Casa there are plentiful entertainment options including Amazon Echo, TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, many movies, PlayStation and several board games with even more available upon request!

Tranquil Suite in the Heart of Los Feliz Near Griffith Park

Pour a cup of Espresso and enjoy it out on the peaceful private patio, accompanied by the gentle scent of lemons wafting from the tree. The walls of this restorative and light-filled home are adorned with pottery and pieces from local artists. The suite is situated at the end of our gated and electric driveway behind the main house. While we want you to enjoy your stay and feel completely at home, we do ask that you keep it down when walking to and from the unit and when on the private patio (as a courtesy to our neighbors). We will give you a unique code for both the driveway gate as well as the guesthouse itself. The code is reset with every guest. We are available for questions and help before and during your stay. Stroll less than a mile to come to Griffith Park, with dozens of restaurants and coffee shops, plus several movie theaters, also within walking distance in Los Feliz village. Catch big-name artists in the Greek Theatre a mile and a half away. We are walking distance to most things including the Red Line Subway Station at Vermont and Sunset. The kitchen is stocked with a Nespresso Machine (we will provide 2 pods per day for the length of your stay), tea kettle + assorted teas, olive oil, salt, pepper, dish soap, fresh kitchen sponge, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soaps. Welcome to Los Feliz! Enjoy a stay in our beautiful suite, tucked away in your own private garden. Located on the lower level of our home with a separate entrance. The suite is newly renovated with plenty of light and charm. Occasionally you may hear overhead sounds from upstairs. Outside you can relax under the pergola and enjoy the sunshine. Blocks away is all Los Feliz has to offer from fun restaurants and eclectic shopping to grocery stores and ice cream, and minutes from Griffith Park.

Named after our beloved Faffy of Galveston, Texas who’s adventurous spirit and love of a good time in a warm house inspired us to open this hillside gem to like minded travelers and bon vivants. At 450 sq. feet, Faffy’s Place is a large private single guest house on a quiet Los Feliz/Silverlake hillside. Faffy’s Place is completely private with its own entrance, garden and patio. It has been newly remodeled with a full feature kitchen and bathroom.

Tree House Getaway in the Hollywood Hills

Come lounge in style in the Hollywood Hills. This private 1-bedroom rental has everything you could need- large bedroom, kitchenette, living room, bath, and a huge enclosed covered porch. This space really takes indoor/ outdoor living to the next level. The porch has a tree house vibe complete with hanging day bed. There’s an additional garden to relax in. All areas are private, including a private gated entrance for extra security. Ample street parking in front of property.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.

SilverLake Hillside Spacious Guest Apartment

Our spacious one bedroom guest apartment locates separately on ground floor of our home in Silver Lake. There's big bedroom with queen size bed , big bathroom with shower/bathtub, hallway with entrance door to the street, fully equipped eating area but no kitchen sink/stove. Parking is free at curb. Most suitable for guests who just need a comfy place to sleep. We currently HOST ONLY ONE GUEST. Pls kindly read through our rules before booking.
