Fairytale beautiful cottage on the lake shore

This cottage is anything but ordinary. It looks like a fairytale castle, there’s a real lighthouse in the garden, and its location at the tip of the headland is uniquely beautiful. This cottage captivates both children and adults alike. This three-bedroom cottage is ideal for up to five people, but can also accommodate seven. The cottage has three different terraces, a wood-fired sauna and an electric sauna, as well as a beach with jetties. Catches from the lake include pike and large perch. During the summer season, the minimum rental period is one week.

An idyllic log cabin & a separate sleeping annexe by the lake. Main cabin: The sleeping loft of the main cabin has two double beds, a pull-out sofa bed, a children's cot, a folding mattress on the floor for a child to sleep in the "cave" (see photo), and two camp beds downstairs. Sleeping annexe: The sleeping annexe has two rooms that can accommodate four people. The annexe has electricity, heating and Wi-Fi. The toilet and shower facilities are located in the main cabin. From the annexe, it is about a 20-metre walk to the main cabin's toilet.

Rantamökki

The beach cottage is located right on the shore of Lake Evijärvi and you can go skiing/ice fishing on the lake directly from the front door! About 2.5 km away, you can borrow a kick sled to go around the plowed ice road. The ice road is accessible right in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. The cottage has its own sauna, but also the adjacent wood sauna is available for guests. Please bring your own linens and towels. The other cottages in the area are not available for rent in winter, so your own peace is guaranteed!

The price includes towels and bed linen. The apartment has an air heat pump, a west-facing terrace and a charcoal grill. Safe cycle path to the centre and Saarikenttä, 2 km. Within walking distance of the Ruukki factory (affordable breakfast & lunch on weekdays). Outdoor trails, disc golf and Lakis ski resort are nearby.

A magnificent holiday home on the rugged shore of Lake Lestijärvi with a lake view. The vacation apartment is a modern and spacious unit. Wood sauna, indoor toilet, fireplace, large outdoor terrace with summer kitchen, gas grill. Boat with outboard motors are included in the amenities. The lake is shallow and sandy, where it is safe for children to swim. There is a small summer sauna near the beach, where you can warm up while swimming. There are swimming mats and summer games for children.

Atmospheric sauna room

The sauna cottage is new, completed in 2023 and is located in the immediate vicinity of the terrain trails. You can ski directly from the yard and the center is only 2 km away. The sauna is located at the end of the road, in the yard of a detached house bordering the forest and the park area. Sauna room with 140 cm wide sofa bed, kitchen, TV, toilet, shower and wood-fired sauna. Possibility to use the sauna for an additional fee. Extra beds with mattresses (€15/piece). Covered parking space.

Villa Kotiniemi

Villa Kotiniemi is a wonderful destination for a relaxing cottage holiday, but also for active activities if you wish. In summer, you can go to the lake by rowboat or paddleboard. In summer, Kivijärvi village also has great outdoor activities; a full-length frisbee golf course, a brand new mini-golf course and fitness stairs. For winter holidays, ski trails leave almost from the yard, snowmobile trails 20 m away, and a children's sledding hill with a rope lift 700 m away.
