Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cherbourg-Octeville

The place is clean and nicely decorated. Highlighted is the kitchen, which leaves nothing to be desired. The surrounding area is very quiet, the nearest shopping is about 2 kilometers away. Beach a kilometer. Barfleur nearby is really beautiful.

The house is beautiful. Decorated with so much love. Attention has been paid to every corner. We felt very much at home in this lovely family house. Nne is very helpful and very flexible, we received a day in advance that we were allowed to come when we wanted, very nice. Upon arrival there was a bottle of local cider ready and confiture. Fresh flowers in all rooms. The garden around the corner was lovely and the sea 50 meters away beautiful. Lovely bakery in the street and nice terraces and restaurants. The supermarket is also within walking distance and is located between the landing beaches. One perfect week in a magical location. Thank you Anne

Mason always very nice, very well arranged, which combines with its location the charm of the countryside with proximity to the sea. We've been coming for three years and hoping it won't be the last.

The property is very suitable for a break by the sea as only a few minutes away are the dunes and the sea. The surroundings are very quiet and we felt very comfortable in the apartment! The city center of the small town is easily accessible by car, but it is a long walk.

As per the photos and descriptions, we can only be satisfied with our stay. Barfleur is a pretty little port. Beautiful hikes to do nearby. Above all, thank you to Didier for his welcome and for his welcome gestures: hot coffee on arrival, an excellent bottle of cider and a bag of cookies. Here's a host and a place to recommend. J-L

Very pleasant accommodation and close to the port of Barfleur or a large beach. The house is perfect for family or friends thanks to beautiful spaces between the veranda, the large living room and spacious rooms. The oven and fridge are sometimes a little noisy, but the kitchen is very well equipped! The garden is a real plus for children with lots of toys available. We'll come back if we have a chance.

Augustin was very approachable and helped when my daughter was poorly. Answered lots of questions before arrival. Lovely, quiet rural area. Pool was a complete winner. Garden large. Lots of space for children to run around. Beaches were always quiet and vast. We liked the local World War II museum, bakery, bicuiterie and beach bar. All about 20 mins walk or drive and find an easy parking space. If you are taking small children (the house has a great cot), I would advise to take a high chair and a stair gate. A very nice villa on a beautiful spot for a short week of relaxation during the holidays. In a few words, the villa is ideally located on the dune at the end of Barneville-Plage, facing the sea with a view from Carteret lighthouse to the end of the beach to Portbail. Great! The decor and living spaces are as in the photos, better...with, of course, all the necessary amenities. Special mention for high-end kitchen and appliances. A master's suite on the very cozy floor and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Communication with Caroline and Thierry, before arrival, during the stay and at the time of departure was very clear, friendly and caring. So it was a perfect stay at this lovely beach house, ideal for spending a few days with family or friends. I can only highly recommend this spot for those wishing to take an iodized break in Barneville Carteret. It was perfect. Thank you 🙏

We had a great time at Camille's, the house is very well arranged, spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We were able to enjoy the terrace which is very nice in the shade of the pine trees. We would not hesitate to go back 😊
