Will be returning to Vinaya’s place! It was a beautiful, private location, and I felt very safe. Vin was so helpful and kind, and I appreciate her and her family so much! She was very communicative and was eager to help with transportation needs. This place was a great spot if you want to take a long walk to Sugar Beach and the resorts there for the beach, and very close walk to Gros Piton tour trail entrance. Also walkable distance to closer beaches. Quiet area. Wifi on first floor of unit. Had everything I needed. Great view and balconies.

Calixte is super friendly and great host. Everything looked just like the photos. Room was clean when we got there. No complaints. The view off the balcony is 10/10. If you choose to rent a car, it is recommend to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The driveway to the property is very steep and rocky/ bumpy. I made it up every time with a 2 wheel drive compact suv but it was not easy.

Very secluded and we went during off season, so somewhat challenging to find food/open restaurants. Need to call ahead. Even the neighboring Tet Rouge was hard to get dinner because they closed early when it was slow. Follow the posted signs instead of Google maps when you get closer - less off-roading. We thought we were getting the side with the ocean views based on the pictures, but ended up with the tropical/mountain view, which we ended up preferring. Had the full duplex to ourselves until the last day and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was awesome and felt private. Garvin and the Tet Rouge staff were very friendly and responsive. We had a plumbing issue that was fixed in a couple of hours. In general, the locals in St Lucia are super nice and we plan to return!

This beautiful villa was a perfect home base for our 3 days in St Lucia. Located in Soufriere, it was close to many of the nature/adventure attractions in the south of the island. The hosts were SO kind - they left a basket of local fruits for us to try, and checked in multiple times throughout the stay to ensure we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and there is a large kitchen and sitting room perfect for cooking or hanging out. Would absolutely stay here again next time I am on the island!

Heather’s place was just what we needed and a perfect place to start our trip. She was very helpful, kind, and responsive. Location is close to the airport, several main attractions, a grocery store, and gas/petrol station. Spacious interior with your own private oasis and pool out back. Basic kitchen utensils and supplies for cooking at home. Would stay again. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

A bit tough to find as the location on AirBnb was a bit further away. Assisted over phone and then rest of the stay was a breeze. Quiet location and great amenities. Welcome drinks(beer) with kitchen fully stocked! Great spot!

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits dans ce logement et avons pu profiter de la vue magnifique sur le Petit Piton. Vous êtes situés dans les terres, en hauteur, la montagne et ses nuages juste derrière nous. Il y fait frais, et c’est calme, idéal en amoureux. Il faut prendre une bonne voiture (4x4), et roulez une quinzaine de minutes pour arriver au centre ville de Soufrière. Depuis le logement, vous êtes à coté des attractions principales du coin : Tet Paul trail, Diamond falls botanical garden, le Drive in volcano, et les bains soufrés ! Je vous conseille de faire quelques courses pour le petit déjeuner et même le dîner, car c’est tellement agréable de profiter du coucher de soleil avec la vue sur mer et sur piton, un bon verre de vin et de quoi grignoter. Notre séjour s’est très bien passé et Carl notre hôte nous a très bien accueilli et recommandé des restos sympa, bien qu’onéreux. Sa maison et son jardin sont beaux et bien entretenus. Je recommande !

Had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and had all the amenities needed. Caron's cooking was really good and he responds quickly. Would definitely repeat.

This place is so relaxing and beautiful to stay at! We loved our private balcony and felt so relaxed looking out to the water. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. We scheduled to have the dinner at the property which was very good-huge portions! Breakfast was good as well. Additionally, the pool was perfect and very refreshing. Make sure to note that there are many many stairs, which could be a greater challenge for some. Another positive of the space was that it was a quick and easy 10 minutes drive to the airport. Definitely would recommend again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was great and the room was perfect for our stay as well. I would recommend staying here if you'd like a more local feel. There are many activities to do around the area such as visit LaTille Falls and Honeymoon beach

My family’s stay here was wonderful! Roger and Alicia are amazing and gracious hosts. Before the stay, Roger responded to all my questions, coordinated a ride from the airport for us and even responded to my request of decorating the place to surprise my mom for her birthday! When we got to the Airbnb, Roger, Alicia and Caleb (our driver) welcomed us with a birthday cake! Although I had done a lot of research before the trip (being a planner!), Alicia’s recommendations of where to visit and when was a huge help! She sat down with me and provided suggestions and feedback on our itinerary for the entire trip! We loved Tet Paul Trail and Sugar Beach and Beacon restaurant (and their prayer garden!) and Dasheen restaurant that Alicia recommended. Caleb, their neighbor was our driver. He was thoughtful and friendly. We enjoyed traveling with Caleb on our trip! Roger, Alicia and Caleb made us feel at home and we are grateful for their hospitality!

Having spent our first week in St Lucia in a resort on the north of the island, we were looking for an independent experience in Soufriere to explore the region’s attractions, culture and nature. We were not disappointed. Roger and Alisha, our hosts, were very welcoming and made it their task to assist us in our quest, assisted by their friend and neighbour Caleb who became our tour driver and with whom we created a friendly bond. Hiring a car in this region was, for us, not an option, so having Caleb available who knows the area like the back of his hand made our experience stress free. We were able to explore the main attractions at times when the majority of tourists weren’t around and were advised on the best eateries in the area. All in all a comfortable, stress free and exhilarating experience.

Javid’s villa is beautiful and in serene surroundings. He was very helpful throughout the stay, including organizing a tour for me and helping me to get to places when I didn’t have a car. I felt very safe here being a woman on a solo trip. The town of Soufriere is at a walkable distance (although it is uphill on the way back) with shops, restaurants and plenty to see. You can also access the Touraille waterfall just across the road for free (avoiding the tour crowds) when you stay at Javid’s villa. I would recommend this accommodation to solo travelers and friends/couples (not the best for families with small kids as there is a steep drop a the river behind the pool). One recommendation I would have is stocking the unit more with kitchen supplies, including stuff for washing the dished. All in all, a great stay.

What a beautiful and restful retreat! The space was bigger than expected, with a vaulted ceiling, large comfortable king bed and plenty of other seating (indoor and outside). The kitchen had everything we needed (including eggs, bread, juice and bottle water in the fridge and ready for us when we checked in). The bathroom is huge and the shower was great. The outside pool area was welcoming and refreshing and we had access to the washer and dryer, which we used several times. The location of the apt is perfect with just a short drive to beaches, Marigot Bay, grocery shopping, the St. Lucia Distillery, restaurants (The Villa was awesome!), and not too far of a drive to Castries and Rodney Bay. While the place was awesome, having Pat as our host took it to the next level. He communication was perfect, she took the time to visit us on the first nigh to make sure we had everything we needed and on the day we left provided a bottle of wine. Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Nous avons adoré notre nuit dans ce lieu paisible. La piscine est un vrai plus, c’est très agréable. Le dîner et petit déjeuner étaient excellents, la cuisinière très gentille. La chambre était super également, très propre et confortable. Par contre il ne faut pas avoir peur d’être réveillé tôt le matin, pas de volets / rideaux occultants. Il est juste dommage de ne pas avoir été accueilli par l’hôte qu’on n’a juste aperçu, et qui ne répond pas souvent aux messages. La communication / accueil gagnerait à être améliorée pour que tout soit parfait.
